Pros: .38 tip is very nice and smooth. Dries nearly instantly. Doesn't blot like some ballpoints do. Cons: Not waterproof though that isn't a big deal since I wouldn't use these to ink a watercolor work anyway. This pen is an instant favorite of mine to draw and sketch with. I never expect good things out of gel ink because it either blots or smears even minutes after making a mark. This is not an issue with this pen as it dries within a second of putting a mark down. .38 is an incredibly fine line to sketch with and I enjoy using this pen thoroughly. Don't let the .38 line fool you, this pen is nice to ink over sketchs and drawings with as well. It makes a very bold line and i can vary the line weight simply by going over lines with it and even blacken parts that I need to. This order came with 10 pens but I do plan to buy more when I get low. Though I primarily use these to draw with they are very good for writing too.

I absolutely love these pens. After searching for THE perfect pen, I have finally found it! These write so smoothly and the ink is so, so dark which I'm a huge fan of to say the least. Also the ink! It dries amazingly fast, I love it. It's almost impossible for the ink to smear unless you're really trying. My friend who is a leftie uses them also with no smear. These are the perfect pens for school! You can also use these for drawing/inking as well since they're thin! I have really cheap sketchbooks with quite thin paper, and the ink does not transfer at all.

Muji products never fail to impress me. I have been to one of the stores in New York and their stationary is high quality, and at a reasonable price. These pens are no exception. They write flawlessly and are so needle-tip fine. I would like to aware you that if you twist the top of the pen where you would rest the pen cap when using it, the inside of the pen will come loose (so you can replace the ink). I did not realize this and apparently it was loosened a bit so the pen tip was unstable which is hard to explain, but it's an easy fix to just screw the end back on tighter with your fingers. No big deal, just concerned me a bit. Otherwise, beautiful pens!

I LOVE these pens. These are the only pens I like to use, and I go out of my way to buy them on Amazon. The pens write smoothly, the ink dries very quickly, and my writing has never smudged. The black is very deep, striking color. The pen itself is comfortable to hold and write with for long periods of time. The ink in these pens does not bleed through to the other side of the page, even on thin paper. Honestly, these pens are so good that my students and coworkers try to sneak them away when I'm not paying attention. You will not regret buying these!

The pens are a bit expensive but OMG THESE ARE SO GOOD. I love writing with gel pens, but they can be a bit expensive. These have lasted me an entire semester so far, so I might buy them again. The tip is thin so your words don’t look too messy and the ink dries down pretty quickly. It doesn’t blot and I think that’s mainly because the tip isn’t too big. I like that they’re also refillable, so you can always just order the ink portion. These are great for note taking, doodling, or bullet journaling. The ink lasts you a while, girl.

Muji pens are iconic when it comes to a good pen experience, and I agree as well. Muji pens have a nice flow and my handwriting looks so much nicer compared to a pilot g2 0.38 pens. I feel like pilot g2 pens there's more of a thicker point when I write.I like how Pilot pens are clickable but some people get annoyed by clicking pen sounds. However there are some downsides to Muji pens, it smears sometimes if you write really fast or in cursive. If you are in a time crunch like you need to rush to finish your AP exam essays then I wouldn't recommend these for that purpose because there is no grip and the cap is really hard to put back on/take off. If you are not a responsible person, for example, you lose pens really easily, then again wouldn't recommend because these are expensive... also one quick note, IF YOU USE MUJI PENS AND THEN A MILDLINER HIGHLIGHTER THE PEN SMEARS.

Great gel pens! Every gel pen that I’ve used in the past has had issues with skipping. Maybe it’s just the way I write. But these pens have not skipped at all, and I’ve been using them for months. The extra fine tip is also a plus; it’s easy to write notes in margins and small spaces. The ink doesn’t bleed through paper like other gel pens, which is a plus because I write on the front and back of notebook paper. Overall, great value and they will last me forever.

Writing with these pens is a pleasure. They're pleasing to behold: not fancy or ornate, but they seem well-built and precise like a high-quality tool. I'm a big fan of the way my handwriting looks when using them. It's thin and minimalistic, the opposite of blotchy or smeared writing that may come with a cheap ballpoint pen. I highly suggest these pens. You'll get dozens of hours of writing out of each of them, and you'll have a better time while doing it.
