Features

  • Practical and Portable: The highly versatile RapidTherm Induction Cooktop boasts 1800W of cooking power, and many smart features at your fingertips. ETL approved and operating at standard 120V, the lightweight electric cooktop is easy to handle and store and is the ideal size for RVs, small apartments or anywhere you need an extra cooktop. With no hot coils or open flames, its the hassle-free way to create sumptuous dishes. Measures 14.3" x 11.3"
  • Energy-Friendly: Suitable for induction cookware only with flat ferrous bases (test with a magnet) such as cast iron, enameled steel, or magnetic stainless steel with base diameter between 4.8-10.2. The powerful induction burner only heats the diameter of the pan, so no energy is wasted. Plus heat is instant and evenly distributed, cooking your food 50% faster than conventional gas or electric cooktops.
  • Digital Control Panel: Swiftly choose between 4 preset programs: Hot Pot, Slow Cook, Boil and Keep Warm that will automatically switch off after cooking. Or, for maximum flexibility, make use of the 8 temperature levels from 140-460F (with power range from 1000-1800 Watts), and handy extra-long 4 hour digital timer. Includes durable blade fan for overheat protection.
  • Safe And Easy To Use: In order to use this and any other induction stove, you need to use cookware with a magnetic bottom. The auto-pan detection will shut the unit off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected. When you need to step away for a minute, use the Pause feature to temporarily stop cooking while locking in your cooking settings. When youre all done, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

  • Durable and Reliable!
I own a small bakery and had purchased one in on July 27, 2023. It was a blessing to have since I make my own modeling chocolate. Having a reliable tabletop is important. I have since relocated and have a small family bakery in a mall but the location was not equipped for a stove so I purchased another one. This Induction cooktop is going to allow me to work twice as fast and keep a full inventory of goodies. Thank you ... show more

  • If it's Mueller I Know it's High Quality.
I have had to acclimate to the power of this induction unit. Using a gas stove is slow and turns my pans black. This is great on everything but I suggest you stay with it for a second when you are guessing the right temperature you need. Tonight I boiled eggs and they boiled over three times and that takes real talent to mess up boiled eggs. I just couldn't get it low enough with the lid on it until I turned it down to 212. I discovered if I left the lid off it could boil at 260. It appears when you lid your boiling eggs it is going to affect the boiling temperature which somehow affects the burner and the digital heat setting. Moral, don't use a lid on water or when boiling etc. I did steam in a large pot w strainer w lid, and no problem there so maybe the pan size is the difference. Still learning on this one. I did note the surface had a plastic covering as one person said. I thought that comes off on some appliances but I'm going to be very careful w mine because electric stove tops scratch up easily. Just have to realize even if there's a problem this company is happy to accommodate. I got my brother an item. He had a small problem and no questions asked - he was sent another w/o even returning the first. Not sure why it says frequently returned but if you can't handle the very strong heat this plate makes please return it because its nothing to fool with. Im learning and I love an electric stove. I want to avoid gas because I come from a town where not liking gas is like buying a Ford when there's a Chevy plant in town. Its a natural gas town. Anyway, if you go into one of the very old homes you can smell gas odor just from the long use of it. I don't think using gas is safe to breathe though people swear by it. Also if you have a gas leak you can become accustom to the smell and not know you have a leak. I'd rather have an electric stove but in my area of CA gas is used more. This is an awesome product. I'm loving mine. I will still be careful though because it requires a careful person when you are dealing with such a powerful unit. Love Mueller products. They really sell powerful long lasting products. Thank you Mueller. ... show more

  • An Induction cooking experiment, that impressed!
We wanted to experiment with Induction Cooking. Got this one and put it on top of our existing Electric cooking range. Using this for 6 months now as our main cooking stove & loving it. Pros: + Heats up very fast and reduces cook time. + Uses regular 110V plug. + A major energy saving (at about 1,800 watts when in full 465F temperature setting), compared to our regular 220V which uses around 4,000 watts. + Easy to clean. Cons: (but not at all big issues) - Slight humming sound. - Timer once set, cannot be increased or decreased. So have to reset afresh the timer. - Had to discard a few (non-magnetic) pot & pans, but they were on their way out anyways. - Would have like temperature readings in both Fahrenheit to Celsius. Only available in Fahrenheit. Upgrade: ^ Would like to have multiple timers - 2 mins @ 425F + 3 mins. @ 300F + 5 mins. @ 140F ... show more

  • Nice little hot plate
I bought this hot plate, because I didn't have a stove for a bit and was considering changing to induction. This thing is AMAZINGLY fast at boiling water. I timed it, and it boiled a gallon of water in less than 2 minutes. It is taking a bit of getting used to, but I really like it. There are a couple things that I don't appreciate. The first thing is, the tempature control could be more fine tuned. It jumps around in 40 and 50 degree intervals. Sometimes it is just a bit too hot and I turn it down and then it is a bit too cool, or vice-versa. You do have to make sure you have the correct type of cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom it will work. If you lift your pan you have I think 30 seconds to put it back on or it will shut off, unless you hit the lock button. It has a very low setting for keeping things warm, but I haven't used that yet. I like how it just heats the pot and really keeps the surrounding area cool, except for the spot where the pot actually was. I also like that it is small enough to take with you camping, tailgating or to an outside party. You will need a power inverter or generator if no plug is available. I am glad I bought this and super glad it works with cast iron, because I love to cook with that. It has been a nice introduction to induction cooking and I look forward to my new cooktop for my kitchen. ... show more

  • Super Unit that Looks Good & Works Great!
Boils a quart of water in under 3 minutes! Super easy to operate, and really easy to clean, too. Black color works well with most decors, and the cord is heavy duty. Unit has a reasonably quiet cooling fan, and some preset buttons to make meal prep even easier. The best thing was the price, which was better than most regular electric hotplates! ... show more
