A little tight so take your time putting it on. Part of the elastic bottom band was unhooked and had to be worked through the channel to secure

  • Great Stand
Style Name: Quad Blind
This is the real deal. It takes a while to assemble and there are a lot of bolts, nuts, spacers and parts. BUT, it is worth it. Once assembled it is easy to move (with helpers). It is very stable, a good height and quiet. The only draw back is the thinness of the cover, which will catch on a bolt if you are not careful and rip. It stands up to the weather in the off-season and easily blends into the surrounding vegetation. A lot less expensive than some of the "harder" shell stands and in my opinion more user friendly. Easily heated with a propane appliance of your choice and easy to vent as need with its zippered windows/door. ... show more

  • Good product
Style Name: Quad Blind
I bought this as a new product two years ago. It did well and after a couple of years of repeated rain and wind and sun exposure etc. it becomes somewhat dry rotted and requires replacement. It does not have the best waterproofing especially after several months of wear. Also the roof benefits from some additional reinforcement to prevent the top cover from sagging with standing water. This is especially a problem in the winter and with repeated freezing and ice accumulation it will deteriorate the roofing very severely. I fixed this problem by adding some ladder truss type enforcement perpendicular to the support bars. I drilled a tiny hole directly into the Cross supports and put the ladder truss ends into those holes. This provides excellent roof support. The window zippers become difficult to move if left open after a year or so. Overall however good product very convenient And very good for hunting. ... show more

  • Not worth the money
Style Name: Quad Blind
The best thing appeared to be what the material was made out of but before we could get it on the stand the one zipper had already messed up. The frame of the blind is flimsy not sturdy. The Muddy Pod 2-person stand was not worth the price instructions sucked, did not have all the screws or correct type of screws and then we had nuts and washers that did not go with the stand. If I had known how flimsy the legs were after I put the platform together, I would have sent it back for refund. Also the steps are narrow just wide enough to put 2 feet on unless you got big feet If you want one for the price and build Academy Sports has a jam-up 2-seater that is a lot sturdier framed reason I bought the muddy stand is that Academy Sports was out of stock. I am 67 years old I need something sturdy to hold onto climbing up and down 12' stand. I climbed the Muddy stand once to help my husband I don't think I will be climbing it again. ... show more

When windows are open you have a great view, but keeps you hidden. Easy on and off at the end of the season. Keeps you dry, warm, and out of the wind.

  • Will work but not long-term option
Style Name: Quad Blind
I guess my review of the blind kit is going to be useful depending on what you’re looking for. The material is loud and heavier than expected, it’s like a rubberized camo tarp more than what I guessed it would be, which was like the pop up blind materials. While this should be better for waterproofing and durability, I don’t know what it means for longevity against the uv rays and wind. The attachment method to the base of the platform leaves a lot to be desired. There are 4 bungee cords with a small metal hook on each end. They want you to lower the roof, then lay on the platform and attach the bungees to the bottom of the floor underneath the platform, then pull the roof kit up bringing it taught. On mine, I had the majority of the bungees pulled back into the material like the pull cord on a hoodie. So in the field it was not possible (when I realized what was going on) for me to fix it. This season I’ll make do, but next year I’ll definitely use paracord and a couple of clips and tightened to make my own tightening system that’s more secure. My plan was to remove the blind off the top in the off season to extend its life. I’ll still prolly do this, but with the tie material they used for the supports I’m not sure how many times I’ll get to tie it to the frame before they start failing. All in all I believe the blind material will last a couple years while the metal should last well beyond that. After the material fails, I’ll come back with some 1/4” or at most 1/2” plywood and make my own walls/roof and make it a more permenant setup. One thing I did do to the tower. I used Wolf Fang Trapping anchors and 1000 lb ratchet straps on each flat side to strap the stand down, and I used 5 24”rebar trapping steaks through the 5 legs. With each leg anchored with a steel rebar and the sides anchored with trap anchors and ratchet straps I don’t feel like it will move even in high winds. Input it up on a windy day (tower and blind kit, 20+ mph gusts) and felt pretty secure the entire time. My biggest complaint was the blind flapping around the base since I couldn’t tie it down. ... show more
