  • Happy so far.

I purchased 2 sets. Sturdy material, looks great on the trailer. Install was quick and easy. Looks great on the trailer. Hope these make loading in the wind easier for the wife.

  • Nice
Size: Fits 2" Trailer Frames
I like these. That are much bigger than what came with my pontoon. They reach right up to the bottom of the pontoon when on trailer. I bought them thinking they would help me load the pontoon onto trailer. I was wrong. I still can’t see them when loading. I went to a 5 foot trailer guides that attach to the back corners of the trailer. They still outside the water so I can land pontoon onto the trailer. Still they are of good quality and install easy. They just didn’t serve my purpose. ... show more

  • Loading Pontoon Game Changer
Size: Fits 2" Trailer Frames
My pontoon has lifting strakes that keep the bottom of the toons from resting in the center of the trailer bunks... (shown in one of the photos). Because of this, the rear of the pontoon wants to float off to one side causing the toon to be off center when loading sometimes. After resetting the center guide-ons that came with the trailer and adding these Extreme Max Trailer Guide-Ons - problem solved. My wife was able to nail the landing first try! No more 'Sorry for what I yelled at you while loading the boat' from her! These will also come in handy when trying to load on windy days or a lot of wake at the ramp. Very well made and and extremely easy to install. Also, be sure to measure the top of your mounting rail to the bottom of your deck before ordering. You need about +30" of clearance. You will need to be sure to have an open-end wrench in addition to your other tools because the two nuts nearest the angle support brace are too close for using a deep socket. I used a Ratcheting Open Ended Wrench that helped a lot. Dry fit everything first before making your final tightening. **The units I received had heavy gouges on the plastic guide-ons as others have reported. They didn't appear to be used or ever mounted. I contact Extreme Max and they are sending me a new set of covers. Great customer support.... Thanks you Eric! ... show more

  • Makes landing and launching SO much easier!
Size: Fits 2" Trailer Frames
Bought a set last fall, and they worked like a charm for loading. They actually sit about 2” ABOVE the floor. However, the angle of the trailer on the launch gives me plenty of clearance. Just bought a second set. They were obviously too tall to sit on the middle crossbar, but there is another cross bar that houses the axle. It’s about 10” lower. They fit there, and with the same adjustment for the boat angle at the launch, should work perfectly. I’ll let everyone know. ETA: I have now landed my pontoon approximately 4-5 times. Was able to land it on the first try EACH time. I will say that I noticed a small dent in the front left pontoon. Not sure if it was always there, but could have come from the action of the boat as it hits the guides, and straightens on the bunks. As far as a review. I have had zero problem launching or landing my pontoon since I put them on (which wasn’t the case before). Haven’t tried to do it with wind or a current yet, but I think they will help immensely. Love this product! UPDATE (9/14/20) - I now have 6-10 launches/recoveries under my belt. Of course launches have never been a problem. Its the recovery that can be a challenge. I think I may have had to make two passes twice. Otherwise, every other one has been on the first try. I will provide one tip. Figure out a reference point for the guide when you're steering the boat. I now know that the guide needs to go "directly under": where I am standing/sitting. If I do that, I can recover the boat without touching the guides. I wonder whether I should provide a little more space between the guides and the pontoons. Right now, they are about 2-3" apart when the boat is on the trailer. ... show more

  • Best product ever
Size: Fits 2" Trailer Frames
These are the best. For years I had the rear end of my tritoom slip out of position when taking the boat out of water. After these were installed it instantly solved the problem. They are awesome Easy to install and sturdy. I would definitely buy these once again
