Thick mat, thick and absorbent fingers to grab any mud or dirt out of the bottom of your shoes. So comfortable, our dog loves laying on it. He thinks it is a dog bed. It isn't so thick that you can trip over it. I just may get the bigger one next time because my 100-pound German Shepherd loves to lay on it. It didn't smell when taken out of the package. The muddy mat takes off most of the mud and moisture off my dogs feet. I occasionally have to give his paws an extra wipe with a towel if they are extremely muddy. This mat is plush and a back saver for me. My dog loves to nap on it.

Best Rugs Ever!!!! I absolutely love these and have recommended them to everyone I know, especially if they have pets or kids! They trap dirt nicely and when needed, I shake them out and throw them in the wash. They look great in my home and are very comfortable. We just put in a pool and there was dust and dirt everywhere. Dirt was always getting tracked in until I got one of these and it made a huge difference. Now that the pool is done it excellent to dry dripping feet so we don’t slip on the tile.

Absolutely amazing. Captures all the dirt, leaves etc. The best rugs I've ever seen for anyone that brings in anything on your shoes. Perfect for gardeners or people with pets. I strted with one to try it out. I now have a larger runner in the laundry room and two in my kitchen. I wanted one at the front door but my door was too close to the ground and didn't allow it to open. Bummer. You will not be sorry. Well made and stays in place. I haven't washed them yet so I can't comment on that. I love them.

Although this is a little smaller than I expected (I confess that I didn’t pay attention to the stated dimensions), it still works well. This is a replacement for a honeycomb vinyl mat I had before. Since it’s soft our cat walks on it rather than jumping over the old one. It’s very easy to shake out any litter. I haven’t had to wash it yet but it looks very sturdy should wash just as easily as a bath mat. I recommend.
