I have worn my ankle boots from Muck for a long time but they have begun to have holes in the soles of both shoes. I ordered this replacement pair that are basically the same except for the soles - they are different. They fit well, are comfortable like the old ones but the soles I would have preferred to be like the old ones. Great boots. I like the height of them, they're just right. The fit is true to size and is wide enough for bulky socks The tread doesn't shed mud like I thought they would. But it wasn't enough of an issue to change my mind. It would be nice if they had a tad bit more cushion, but i can slip an insole in them for a more comfortable fit. This brand is expensive so I waited for them to go on sale. I tried different brands for less money and had to return them due to quality and fit. These are warm boots to wear in snow. They seem to be very durable and well made, and I expect the to last for a long time. They have a little bit of weight to them, but it wasn't a game changer to keep them ... show more

These are great. Comfortable and totally waterproof. I bought them because despite what they say, most waterproof hiking boots aren't. I walk through a lot of wet grass and these keep my feet dry (and ticks away). I have walked miles in them with no problem.

I have tried several different brands of waterproof boots and each had its own downfall. One was too thin while another has little to no arch support and another was overall ill fitting. I spotted these and with the try then free for seven days why not. First they arrived on time and where what I had ordered. Myself, I ordered the same as my shoes size and with a heavy sock they fit so comfortable. I walked around the house a couple of different times to insure they didn't have to be returned. Then it was out to the garden where it had been raining on and off for three days, There was mud, tall wet grass and pavement. On all accounts they performed well, I forgot I had rubber boots on. Conclusion: Well made, comfortable, not to tall and not too short, on and off with easy and, their priced right. I never knew I needed them until I had them. These are great yard shoes, and just general waterproof shoes. They are comfortable and the material feels durable and well made.     • Being a half size, I would go down, not up in sizing

I read reviews where people were saying size up if you are a half size. I would say not to do that and go the other way. I purchased an 11 and there was so much room inside that I was able to stick a SUperfeet insole onto of the insole that came with the boot just to take up some extra volume in the boot. I will be getting another pair in a size 10, I am hoping that will fit more snuggly with a after market insole. The biggest issue have with extra volume is that my heel has made a hole through the liner in the back heel moving up and down, wearing through it. I don't really feel it while wearing the boots, but there is a hole in the liner. I love the boots, from the day I have gotten them I have been wearing them. Super easy to put on and take off, no issues with walking through significant puddles, etc etc. I would recommend these boots to anyone, just be warned they run non the big side and not on the small side. ... show more
