I bought these to replace a pair that cost over $100 more that fell apart in five months. I use them for land surveying, which puts me on all kinds of steep/wet/rough terrain. These have held up to daily work use. Since purchased I have worn these all but about 5 work days (those were days when the temperature never cracked 30 degrees and I work my Arctic Muck Boots). I have worn them in temperatures up to 85 degrees, I have worn them when it was below 20 degrees outside in the mornings. They have been comfortable throughout, and have not been unbearably hot. The supposed range on these boots is 40-90 degrees Fahrenheit, I haven’t worn them at 90 yet, but I imagine they would handle it. The soles have pretty good tread on them, they are fairly easy to clean the mud off of, and I can stand in about 18” of water and never get my feet wet. These have been my favorite work boots thus far. I’m sure they will eventually wear out, but they have held up better than any other work boot I have owned, even two pairs that cost over $100 more. ... show more

I am a huge fan of Muck Boots and wear there year-round for barn and homestead chores. But the original versions are too hot to wear in summer and my feet get sweaty and gross. After reading reviews I gave these Cool versions a try and am glad I did. I wore my originals and these back to back on an 85 degree day and the Chore Cools definitely kept my feet cooler and not sweaty. They're still warm as the rubber foot part is not porous, but vastly better than the originals for summer work. Recommended for any homesteaders who need a solidly built but cooler chore boot for summer. Regarding sizing: I am a women's 7 and bought men's size 5 (women's 6 according to package) and they fit perfectly. Having bought them previously in-store, I knew my size and they do run large. Ordered these boots to replace my previous pair of rubber muck boots. Overall I’m happy with what I got, they’re comfortable, dry boots and these actually have some tread under them unlike some models of rubber boot. I work with concrete and they've held up nicely. The only “issue” I’ve had is that, like most rubber boots, sweating in them a while will cause them to become damp inside and usually they get squeaky. I expected the Chore Cool to solve the problem but I don’t notice a difference, still it’s a solid pair of rubber work boots and they’ve been working good for me so far. ... show more

Got these for my 9 year old when he fishes. These boots are awesome! Highly recommend. They are sturdy (and heavy too...not for a little kid). He’s had Boggs boots for years (in snow, play, etc) and these are an upgrade for sure. He loves that they aren’t so hot! We sized up just so he has room to grow. Good for a wide foot (like he has). Keeps water out well but if you do get water in (like over the top) they do take ahwhile to dry out (as expected). They seem really durable...we shall tell how they stand against time and my son who’s tough on shoes. ... show more
