Ideal for landscaping and construction workers who require added foot protection, these Muck Chore Classic Tall Steel Toe Men's Rubber Work Boots feature a metatarsal guard for extreme impact protection. The Met Guard is soft and flexible for ease of movement, but gets hard instantly when impacted. The 5 mm neoprene is waterproof and shock-absorbent. It also retains heat and is flexible to adjust to the natural contours of the foot for good support. In addition to outer waterproofing, these men's metatarsal boots keep feet dry on the inside by wicking perspiration away from the skin. Built for durability, these men's rubber work boots also feature a steel toe for impact protection, a steel shank for added support, and easy-to-clean rubber overlays and outsoles. The story began in 1999 with the sole purpose of building the most comfortable, high performance footwear on the market. The need for a more comfortable boot for use in messy and tough conditions led to the design of The Original Muck Boot Company brand footwear. Every boot in the line is expected to deliver the same 100% waterproof quality and comfort that inspired the original footwear. This is my second set of these, the first set lasted about two years of pretty regular wear. They fit pretty good, and give a good grip in wet and generally awful work environments. These boots were purchased for field construction work. I knew the brand and wanted a good waterproof boot for wet and muddy conditions. These were great for the first two days, then my $165 boots leaked. There is nothing worse then wet feet in these work conditions. I would have been better off saving my money. ... show more

I broke 3 metatarsal bones wearing a boot with no met guard so I purchased these. Feel more safe and secure in them. Very comfortable even with the met guard!

They. are worth every penny. They are comfortable and waterproof as advertised. Just make sure. you purchase at least 1/2 size larger or you may find yourself struggling to get them on. I love my Muck Boots and when these eventually die, I will buy another pair without hesitation. Update: 9/2023. That right there should say it given the original purchase date... I'm still using these very boots. One boot did start to develop a small leak in the rubber but it was easily patched. I routinely use these boots, mostly on construction sites and now, when photographing in wet, boggy areas. I figured these boots would only last me a couple of years but I am beyond surprised how durable they are and still keep my feet nice and warm. ... show more

Great boots they are comfortable, warm, and have great traction. I love the toe box of mucks, finding a boot that has the sizing rage for Women without it being more expensive is amazing. I work in a swamp basically so I’m happy that my feet can stay dry and warm without being to warm on the hot sunny days is a amazing . There are some cons of them tho this is 2nd pair of mucks in 2 years I will say I did a cheaper pair for my first pair blah blah blah. The steal toe is a little uncomfortable to bend in them and also a seem is starting in the boots where the steal toe ends .witch is kinda upsetting but oh well im going to use them till they break. I will say all of people/me that have had mucks the seems start to get holes at bending points. I love my mucks and I will probably buy another pair. I think the price doesn’t match the Quality wish they would use better glue or whatever they use to keep the boots together lol. Oki that’s all hope I could help. ... show more

Well, my husband broke his calcaneus bone. These are the same boots that he used to wear before he broke his foot. I bought them again for him because of the snow and the rainy weather that we have in Michigan, but he says that they still have a nice tight fit they are not actually type, but the one foot that he broke it’s a tight fit for him, but he likes that because he still unsteady with his feet. These are the same boots that he used before for construction and he still using them in construction as we speak, totally recommend these ... show more
