Description

Designed to protect feet in temperatures as low as -60 °F (-50 °C), muck arctic pro extreme conditions tall steel toe insulated men's rubber work boots feature extra-thick 8 mm neoprene that is 100 percent waterproof and shock- absorbent. The material retains heat and flexibility, adjusting to the natural contours of the feet for supportive comfort. Insulation consists of warm fleece linings and thermal foam to add protection between the soles of the feet and the boot's molded outsole. Rubber overlays on these insulated work boots rise above the ankle for excellent moisture protection when walking in deeper snow and slushy the steel toe in these men's work boots offers good protection against impacts and heavy falling objects.

Bought these boots for some of my PhD field work in interior Alaska. Just got back a week or so ago and these boots really saved my feet and kept me comfortable. Much of the field work we did involved being outdoors for 10-12 hours at a time in temperatures as low as -20 to -30 degrees F. There was not a lot of walking around either, mostly sitting around and taking notes on collected samples. I paired the boots with two layers of socks (one thin ski sock covered by a super thick wool sock) and barely had cold feet at all. Outside of bunny boots I don't think there is a better Arctic boot. Did lots of kneeling, crouching, walking, and snowmobile driving with these boots over the two week period and didn't see any wear and tear. Really glad I bought these boots, but as of now I can't say anything about long term durability. ... show more

Good boots. I've been using them in Wyoming this winter in sub-zero (F) temperatures. These boots were recommended to me by the drillers I work with who have had them for years. For the record, my job mostly involves me standing around, but the boots are much more effective when I'm moving around. Above ~30 F, the boots are a bit much and my feet sweat. I have two other muck boots, the Chore ST and the Wetland models. These are as tall as the Wetland and have a different spike style sole. They Pro ST also has more material outside of toe area for better wear. Even though they are all size 10, the Pro ST is physically larger than both and alittle bit heavier, yet fits the best.
