Great scanner, easy to use, alot of nice features and free lifetime updates, the only thing is that for the bidirectional you have to pay $50 extra for each car manufacture or brand and its only for 1yr after that another $50 if you need it again

I should of email them first I barely have coverage for my 2017 Ford explore and my 2016 dodge Durango . It has many options but not the ones i needed for my vehicles !

I have been using this in my garage for a few months now and on many different vehicles and can definitely say you won't be disappointed with this if you purchase it. It has a lot of functionality even without purchasing the manufacturer specific software. And will add that it is just that. Manufacturer specific not vehicle specific so the software purchase is not tided to one cars vin number. You can do 1 ford or 1000 ford vehicles you only purchase the enhanced software once. I'm absolutely NOT a mechanic, but I fixed 1 car the day I got it, and 2 the next day. Mechanics have told me to buy a newer truck... (nahhh) Or they just couldn't figure it out....     • This scanner is fine but, you will have to pay more for features.
It clears all the codes and you can pair it with tpms scanner. It does all various functions. The 28 functions are free to use. But, if you need/want to test a certain function on your car like a headlight test, lock test, or etc. You will need to pay $50 per year per vehicle manufacturer. Also, if you want to change a certain setting on your vehicle you will have to pay the $50. ... show more

In purchasing this item I wanted the 2023 (newest) model. I received what appeared to be the 2022 model. Little did I know nor was it expressed that updating the free software would update the settings and the display to 2023 model (via the software). The hardware is well made. Good grip, good quality materials. If this was only a hardware product, it would get an A+ Unfortunately the software is horrific. Incredibly slow, the software takes 12 minutes to do a "quick scan" on my 2002 Mercedes S430. In addition, it crashes constantly, then makes you start the "quick scan" over, but not until you re-type the 17 digit VIN. On my 2005 Maserati, the software would never even get to the "quick scan", it simply would crash constantly. When you call the tech dept in "California", you get a person that can barely speak English and who barely knows the product. That person then "contacts" the tech department and a few days later you get an email that says, "make sure the software is up to date", and "turn off and turn on the system" and silly things like this. Maybe there is a car out there that this thing works with. I did not have that experience. ... show more
