I upgraded from a msi b250m bazooka motherboard i got gifted for helping cleaning a neighbors house. The board looked really good and pleasant to look at. I thought it looked more white on the picture but its just bare aluminum. I was hoping for a white looking build but I'm fine with just bare aluminum for cooling efficiency. I really like the heatsink on everything. The only thing i miss is the led on the motherboard on my b250m motherboard. It would have been really cool if there was lighting on the backside. But its ok because it has rgb headers and researching there were people having boards fail because of a led light failed. Its been running good so far. I'm a fan of msi because of new tech with no cable showing and price friendly. ... show more

Worked excellently in my CPU cabinet that accommodated its "reverse motherboard connector" scheme. This is where the power and other cables usually attached to the topside of the motherboard are instead connected to the reverse, hiding them from view in certain specialized enclosures. It's an overall easier scheme for cabling up a motherboard and having less hassle getting GPU and other components (like CPU coolers) situated. The performance of the motherboard has been top notch, and I have configured and using it with all M.4 SSDs populated, set into a RAID10 configuration. Once set up and bootable, the BIOS accommodates a special accelerated MSI boot speed enhancement which reduces startup time to a minimum. The system has accommodated all port connections I wanted, from HDD to SSD and SATA to GPU and the various high speed USB connection systems. I have no want for more capabilities here. The system has undergone a number of changes and upgrades to RAM, GPU, SATA devices and so forth, and has proven to have great stability for all these operations. ... show more

I originally bought a different board and had to RMA it, ended up getting this one instead and man it's nice! So clean. I built I'm a compatible case (thermaltake tower 600) and the cutouts all match. So easy to build on and cable managing is a cinch. Couldn't recommend enough, also this one has 2 x USB 3.0 connectors which my last one didn't and that's awesome. ... show more

Easy to install, all connections are on the back of the board. I built in a Corsair 6500x and it was very fun to build with this board. Has all the features I need, BIOS is easy to work with, no post issues, attractive looking board.

Just raising QC issues. Mine appeared to arrive completely dead, or else it shorted out during the normal handling and installation of the motherboard. Nothing worked, and even the bios flash button didn't light up when I tried to use it (doesn't require the CPU, just power supply to update the firmware on the motherboard) Will be refunding it and requesting a new one, hope it works. I'll update my review when I have a working PC ... show more
