I ordered this laptop when it was on sale to replace an older Alienware laptop that finally was EOL. Shipping was fast , received in less then 48 hours from order but the first unit was DOA. I filed for an exchange and paid for a second one to expedite the process and would be refunded upon returned original item. 3 days later got the new one and it had a dead panel. It worked fine if plugged into hdmi but the laptop panel itself was completely dead. This time I requested a full refund. Unfortunately before I received my first one , Due to the specs and the price at the time I recommended it to a work mate who ended up also purchasing one. Visually, this laptop looks amazing. Love all the LEDs and rgb bells and whistles. The screen and color production look great using the mini LEDs too. Only tested a few games so far, but the performance and speed seem pretty good as well. One complaint about this purchase is that the product title advertises the screen as 144hz when it only comes as 120hz max, so it was slightly misleading in that regard. That's nothing to do with the product itself, however, and more to do with the seller. My biggest complaint about this laptop is that it's LOUD. From simple online browsing to gaming, this laptop sounds like a jet engine. That'd nothing a good pair of noise canceling headphones can't solve, however. The screen started failing for no reason after 1 month and a half, I needed to send it back for reparation. (2nd time this happen to me in a MSI laptop) The performance of the laptop is good though.

The laptop came in great shape, and was pretty easy to get set up. The screen resolution if fantastic! As another reviewer stated, the fans can get "loud", but it doesn't seem to much of an annoyance (for now). However, the battery level has remained at 90% even after leaving it plugged in over night. ... show more

    • Extremely Disappointed: Constant Issues After Just One Year
This laptop is not worth its price. Even though it has good specifications, I’ve experienced constant problems over the last eight months. I’ve owned it for a year, and it began failing early on—shutting down on its own, overheating even without running demanding programs, and showing frequent blue screens. After BIOS and Nvidia updates, the issues became even worse. I used the warranty and sent it in for repair. It worked properly for about two months, then the problems returned. Now it won’t let me restore, reset, or return it to factory settings. I have always taken great care of the device, so these issues make no sense. This is the first time I’ve had such a frustrating experience with a laptop. ... show more
