  • Nice mid tower ATX case
Style: MPG GUNGNIR 110R
This case was easy to use for my recent build. It looks great. It comes with four case fans and seems to allow enough airflow to keep things cool, although I do not use it for gaming. There are a couple of channels on the back side for cable management and several zip ties are included. There is a mounting bracket for two SSDs. There is an ARGB hub to which the case fans are preconnected. There are connectors for the top controls and ports which worked great with my motherboard. It comes with a power cable to allow the three front fans to connect to one motherboard fan header, if that's what you need. The power supply and a cage for up to three hard drives are at the bottom below a shelf. My power supply was modular and connecting the cables with the power supply in place was impossible. I had to remove the power supply mounting screws to be able to plug in the necessary cables and even then it wasn't easy. I did find a few things that were troublesome for me, but not enough to knock down my 5 star rating. The tempered glass front looks great but does obstruct some of the air intake, not enough to affect my components but then again I do not use my PC for gaming. There is no speaker to beep upon a good POST. The power button is at the top of the case and it is super easy to press accidentally. If there was a sliding cover or a flip up cover over the power button this would be much improved. The tray for mounting SSDs attaches to the drives on the flat side and tightening the mounting screws puts pressure on the SATA power and data connectors. I ended up loosening the screws until the connectors were barely deflected, but some sort of spacer is needed. Notwithstanding the few complaints I have, this is a very nicely made case. By the way, it is packed well and arrived in perfect condition ... show more

  • Best case I've owned so far
Style: MPG VELOX 100R
I've built a lot of computers for people, and I've worked with tons of different PC cases, but this case takes the cake for me. I had never really had a nice case for myself, but after building a fancy new PC for someone recently, I decided it was finally time for me to treat myself to a new rig. I sifted through different cases for a while before finally coming across the MSI MPG Velox. Some things that caught my attention were: 1. The tempered glass side pannel is held shut with magnets and swings open easily without the need to undo several screws. This makes it super easy to work on the computer or make quick adjustments to things. 2. The case has a small window that lets you show off your PSU (while still hiding the cables) I love being able to see the graphics on my PSU 3. Lots of ports and buttons on top of the case! :D Power button, restart button, led control button, two regular usb ports, a usb-c port, and your headphone and mic ports. 4. A cool little rgb strip on the side. Everything about this case feels sturdy and premium. I'm really glad I finally bought one for myself. ... show more

  • Beautiful case. Great cooling. Insane supprt!
Style: MPG GUNGNIR 111M
Decided to go back to ATX and I fell in love with the cases appearance. I purchased the 111M as it seemed like it would have the best airflow. It does a phenomenal job at moving air. I decided to go for an "MSI" build this time around after a bad experience with Asus. I went with the MSI 111M Gungnir, MSI X570 Tomahawk, MSI Coreliquid 360 cooler, and my trusty ole MSI 1070 Ti Duke. Everything works perfect together! The stock fans are very nice and honestly not too noisy. There is plenty of room for routing cables even if you do it rather messy. My only complaint is the bottom feet are gigantic and I ordered smaller adhesive riser feet that I plan on putting on. Given the only fan underneath is my PSU and the PC is on a table, I think I should be fine. I would totally recommend this case and I am glad I got it before it became unavailable. ... show more

  • Solid case, but double check the front panel connectors for the MoBo
Style: MPG VELOX 100R
Love the case, very spacious, and the rgb’s are great. Just a couple issues though: 1). The fans on the front are mounted in the outside. To get the best airflow/lower ambient temp, you’ll have to move them to the inside and re-route the cables. But if you do this, there won’t be enough room to mount an AIO to the side vents. Minor issue, but still worth knowing. 2). This one got me. Be wary of the front panel connectors that go to the MoBo. The “quick setup” guide is pretty much worthless, so you’ll need to consult your MoBo user guide to see which connectors go where. What caused my issue is that I put them in the order that the manual called for but I wasn’t getting power. Just out of curiosity, I flipped my power switch one upside down(it’s a 2 pin connector, one side is positive the other negative) and it worked! So out of the factory they wired one of my connectors backwards. Other than those two issues, the case is excellent. ... show more

  • Vertical GPU is beautiful
Style: MPG VELOX 100R
Man! the tempered glass really makes the colors pop. I'm loving this case. I used the MSI extender pcie 4.0 cable to do the vertical mount. The bracket comes with the chassis. The cable is pricey and as a lot of people would not use, it is not included. The pictures barely do it justice. A video would be better. My rear fan is currently set to CPU Temp. I can change it to color swirl now. I was watching it for a few days. It stays green even when playing Starfield @ 4k. CPU core temp is a frosty 32'C thanks to the MSI 360 cooler on the CPU. This is a total MSI build. Intel i7-10700K on a Z490 MSI MPG Gaming Pro Wifi, 32Gb of overclocked Ram, the GPU is a MSI rt6800XT. The CPU vertical makes the remaining slot access real tight but I was able to put in a PCIe 4.0 to m.2 adapter with a 2 Tb wd black SSD on a short profile card. With TWO M.2 slots on the MB, I'm now at 4TB total. The case includes an RGB controller. The motherboard has two Jrainbow jacks. I'm not bragging, I'm just darned happy I've been fixing computers since they filled a room. True story - I like MSI because the 1st time I saw one of their motherboards it was junk, the old microstar label. That was a long time ago. About 1987. Next board I saw looked better :-) and it went up at every release. They have grown into a top flight manufacturer. I have built several systems around their products for family and friends. Only motherboards I use. ... show more
