  • Good compact ITX motherboard
Size: mITX Style: MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
This is generally a good compact motherboard for an Mini-ITX PC build. The major benefit for gaming is its ability to have a dedicated graphics card, although not a powerful one. It works fine for games that are not too demanding. Keep in mind that being a small and semi-mobile package, it is not meant for high-power devices. Try to keep the box from overheating. As long it is used as intended, its form factor, stability, and performance are great. ... show more

  • Great bang for the buck motherboard!
Size: mITX Style: MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
Built a very nice little gaming PC with this board when there was a sale and it's a very good little performer. The only downside is that I would heavily suggest learning to organize the front panel connectors as neatly as you can because they get in the way of a lot of components in tightly packed builds. ... show more

  • Arrived with broken DIMM slot, M2 heat shield stuck
Size: mITX Style: MPG B760I EDGE WIFI
The motherboard arrived defective with a broken DIMM slot. Additionally the heat shield for the top M.2 slot had to be removed because one of the screws was on too tight to remove.

  • great boare but beware
Size: mITX Style: MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
I have this board in a couple of computers. The boards all work well. There is one little tiny issue. Do! not! install! the! Realtech console! This seems to be a problem for MSI only. I have brought this to their attention. Tech support rates a 3. There's one guy there, who has no patience for people. If he's gonna do tech support, he's got to have patience, otherwise I'd put him on service detail to fix stuff. As a person who is totally blind, you have to ask what's up on the board. I've been building computers since the late .80's. It's truly amazing how far and how much stuff they can stuff on a Mobo. Anyway, this Realtech console binds the audio to whatever connection you are using. If you say unplug your headphones going back to speakers, it might work or might not work. This is installed during the Win10 process. So before you do anything else, go to the start menu, and find that sucker, and uninstall it. I returned a couple of boards before I knew what was going on. Anyway, these boards work well, and I have no other issues to report. So far, I'd buy them again. Ray ... show more

  • MSI is the worst of the major motherboard brands and almost no USB 3 ports
Size: mITX Style: MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
How sloppy to do you have to be to have a stray cursor lit up roughly in the middle of an otherwise black screen for several seconds every time you boot up? No it's not my monitor as I tried another and it's not my graphics card because I'm not using one. Welcome to the sloppy poorly designed world of MSI. MSI is also too cheap to include a user manual like Asus, ASRock and Gigabyte all do. And they're too incompetent to label all the connectors on the motherboard so you NEED the missing manual just to use this motherboard. So you're likely forced to go online and wade through their terrible website to find the PDF manual. And for anyone used to Asus, ASRock, or Gigabyte BIOS you're in for a shock with MSI. Their BIOS doesn't follow the normal convention and nearly everything is hard to find, or in many cases just doesn't even exist, compared to their competitors. it's also really buggy. You choose the "silent" fan profile, for example, and your fans actually run faster after you reboot. You turn off network boot and it has somehow turned itself back on next time you boot. The list goes on. And yes my BIOS version is current. And I hope you like USB 2 as MSI is really stingy on USB 3. This MB has exactly ONE type A USB 3 port on the back panel and ONE USB C port. That's it. The other 4 USB ports on the back are twenty year old USB 2 spec ports. Really MSI? Yeah there's a USB 3 header for a pair of USB 3 case ports but a lot of cases don't have USB 3 ports and even some that do are marginal at USB 3 speeds. You can get this buggy motherboard to sort of work but I have no confidence in MSI. I only bought this motherboard as the better choices from Asus, ASRock and Gigabyte were out of stock like many things are these days. But now I know why this poorly designed motherboard was in stock. MSI is the last resort. I will never buy another MSI product. ... show more
