I recently upgraded my gaming rig with the MSI MPG A1000G PCIe 5 Gaming Power Supply, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This power supply is an absolute beast, and here's why I'm giving it a 5-star review: Reliable Power Delivery: The 80 Plus Gold certification ensures high efficiency and stable power delivery to all my components. I've never experienced any power-related issues since installing it. Silent Operation: The power supply operates almost silently, even under heavy gaming loads. It's a night-and-day difference compared to my old PSU, and it keeps my setup nice and quiet. Full Modular Design: The full modular design is a game-changer for cable management. I only connect the cables I need, reducing clutter and improving airflow inside my case. This is a boon for anyone obsessed with aesthetics. Ample Power: With a 1000W capacity, this power supply easily handles my high-end GPU and CPU. I have room for future upgrades without worrying about power constraints. Stylish Aesthetics: The design of the power supply complements my gaming setup perfectly. The MSI logo and the overall build quality are top-notch. In conclusion, the MSI MPG A1000G PCIe 5 Gaming Power Supply is a fantastic addition to any gaming rig. It combines top-tier performance, quiet operation, and a sleek design. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the peace of mind and reliability it offers make it worth every penny. • MPG A1000G - works as usual
Size: 1000W
The MPG A1000G PCIE5 is a rock-solid PSU with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, PCIe 5.0 & ATX 3.0 support, and a silent, zero RPM fan mode. It’s fully modular, making cable management super easy, and delivers clean, stable power—perfect for high-end GPUs. I picked this over others for its future-proofing and reliability, and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s quiet, powerful, and easy to install. The only downsides? A bit pricey and the cables could be more flexible, but overall, it’s a fantastic, worry-free PSU for any high-performance build. ... show more

  • MSI MPG A1000G PCIE 5 & ATX 3.0 Gaming Power Supply - Full Modular - 80 Plus Gold Certified 1000W

An amazing PSU for a strong PC build. I have no problem using this 1000w MSI PSU to power my 9070 xt along with my B850 Tomahawk and 9800x3d CPU. I am also running 9 fans and everything runs smooth. Being fully modular makes this PSU installation a breeze as well. Plenty of cables for any job you also might have. Great job MSI! ... show more

  • Powerful, quiet, with a 10 year warranty!
Size: 1000W
MSI makes quality stuff. My old PC, now 10 years old, has MSI parts that have never failed, so I got even more MSI parts this time around. This PSU has more power than I currently need. I probably could've done an 850. It is very quiet - at least, I can't hear it above the quiet hum of my giant 200mm fans. And this unit has a 10 year warranty. That is the best in the industry, I believe. I like that it is fully modular, so only the cables I need are plugged in. Full disclosure: I made a build mistake and thought I got a defective unit, so did a refund with Amazon before I did a bench test of this PSU, found it worked fine, and then rehooked it up to my PC. The new unit is the one I'll be sending back to Amazon, unopened, because the first one was fine. The only thing I can think of is that, although I checked every cable three times, the power switch connector may not have been fully seated on my MoBo. My case has this weird tiny box around all of those small molex connectors for power, reset, etc. which bundles them together, making them easier to attach to the MoBo, but each one can move a bit inside that box. So it was possible that while the box itself was all the way down when I checked, that the power switch's molex connector was not. Anyway, once that I figured that out, everything has been great. ... show more

  • Great Value Power Supply

Runs quietly with no issues. Comes with a pouch for the extra cables. Has 12VHPWR connector for new NVIDIA GPUs. I haven't had any issues with the connector.

  • Great psu for my 4080 super!
Size: 1000W
The modularity makes this PSU very convenient and I don't know how I would have wired up my PC if I had like 20 cables that I didn't need just sitting in the back. Also, the cable quality of the included cables is great; they come with a little bag that you can put the extras into and are decently flexible but not super loose to the point that they just sag (especially important with the GPU cable). You could also buy custom cables but these work just fine. I don't know the stability of the power delivery of this psu but I haven't had a single issue with it so far, so I never really bothered to check. One thing to note, it's a pretty tight fit for my case but I'm pretty sure that's the case's fault and not the psu's, so just make sure it's compatible with the psu slot in your case. (mine is dual-chambered so it had to fit vertically). Overall great PSU, would recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent PSU with few caveats
Size: 1000W
Bought this because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. I love how compact and quiet it is. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the 24-pin cable absolutely sucks like others mentioned. If you use the Lian Li Strimer 24-pin extension it will not work with it. Also the value is not really great compared to their ATX 2.0 counterparts. I’d probably wait for prices to go down unless you absolutely need to have one. I only bought this because of the convenience of the 12vhpwr cable. ... show more
