  • Can’t Go Wrong With X570 Chipset and an M.2 Drive
I LOVE this board. It was easy to install and get up and running. I had exchanged a bricked board for this one. This one cost me over a $100 more BUT this one has 3 M.2 slots instead of the other board. I wasn’t crazy that this board only had 4 SATA slots, compared to the board before this one which had 6 SATA slots but as I previously said, this one comes with 3 M.2 slots INSTEAD of 2. Another perk is this one has FAST WiFi and my previous one didn’t. I love the fact that this board has a red reset button on the board and it has a 2 digit fault code reader next to it. That’s a big plus for troubleshooting. The original seller had it listed as an mini ATX layout, and that worried me because I wanted an ATX sized motherboard but I was happily surprised when I opened the box and saw it WAS an ATX board. Getting into the BIOS was easy. The board I had returned for this one had sluggish BIOS and this one was easy and informative. I read some other reviewers which said, “I would have to install both 8 pin connections,” which this board does have for the CPU, but I also read I ONLY really needed 1 8pin CPU connector unless I was planning on seriously over locking, which I wasn’t. I love the X570 chipset this board comes with and I paired it with a RYZEN 5 3Rd Gen 3600 series. I also added an ADATA 1TB M.2 NVME drive for my OS and some programs. I also have a 3TB hard drive installed for space. I had to format the 1TB M.2 drive to GUID instead of NTFS for best performance because my OS wouldn’t recognize it as a bootable drive and so I could take advantage of UEFI speed instead of Legacy. I went into my BIOS after doing so, made my M.2 drive my first bootable drive, saved my settings and restarted my computer. Before my system used to take about 4 minutes to boot and run. This bad boy now boots and runs under 20 seconds. BIG difference. I was able to load all my software from a previously made backup to my now GUID partitioned 3TB internal hard drive. The WiFi is FAST but I don’t use it cause I have my Ethernet cable plugged right into my motherboard. I love the all black look and am not really into RGB’s but this board does have connections for it and even comes with 2 cables for RGB lighting. I’m not a gamer but I did download 2 games because I bought a video card. I can’t get my 5 year old son off my new build cause he loves the visuals of the games. I played a game and it was a nice experience. The game was crisp and very realistic looking. Computers have come a long way from my Atari days and even the days where you played games on your computer from a floppy disc. The board has 1 PCIE 16 pin slot and I think the other is an 8pin PCIE. The board also comes with 4 memory slots for up to 128GB’s of RAM. I have 2 Dual 8GB’s X 16GB’s total and this rig is FAST. I’ll eventually add 32GB’s soon and I think that’s all I will need for this board with the X570 chipset and my M.2 drive. ... show more

  • board wont post
This board never posted correctly or ever really held a windows sessions. constant reboots. Funny thing is another exact same board I built using exact same parts is a workhorse. So leads me to expect this board is a bad build quality and randomly defective.
