For the price point there is no reason this headset is as good as it is, but man it is amazing. It is very comfy and fits around the ears nice, the sound quality is nice even with a volume rocker on the wire, and the mic quality is very nice. Where the headphones fall flat is the bass boosted mode, at first it’s pretty nice, after a year or so, you can hear the speakers crackle a bit, so I almost recommend running the headset without it.

Los auriculares son de excelente calidad, la calidad del sonido es excelente. Lo único que no me gustó, es que el paquete no fue bien manejado, por lo que la almohadilla del brazo que vien doblado, llegó deforme por la presión como si le hubieran puesto algo encima. Con el tiempo ha recuperado algo de la forma original, pero se le nota un poco la deformación. No lo devolví ya que el el sonido y demás características del producto, se conservaron muy bien sin detectar defectos en ese sentido.

I've bought this product 3 times. The first wasn't too bad and lasted 3 years. The second only lasted about a 1 and a quarter years. I had thought closer to 2, or I probably wouldn't have gotten the third. The first thing I noticed on the third, is the cable was about 60% of the length it used to be, which was irritating, a sign they were definitely cutting back on product quality. But the issue all of them potentially have is what seems like a cloth insulation cable. And on the third pair, I've had to move recently and don't have my good PC desk available yet, and my PC would be on my left side rather than the right side it is now. In the current position the past couple months, the cable often ends up laying across my neck, and that portion of the cable has dry rotted and become rigid and brittle. I noticed a couple weeks ago the headset was cutting out, and soon noticed that section of the cable by was damaged. Not recommended if you have oily skin that the cable will consistently touch. Other than that, it's had good functionality. Good audio output, and a microphone with great directionality, if a bit overly sensitive and can possibly pick up its own headphones.

Overall, the headset is a fantastic choice for the price. The sound quality is excellent, and there is a built-in volume controller thing. The mic works mostly well but with one issue: it seems that it needs to be "warmed up" before it can reach its maximum volume. For me, "warming up" the mic means speaking into it for ten or so seconds, and then it will reach its peak volume. An example of this being a problem is if I join a call with a friend, they'll barely be able to hear me for a few seconds. Otherwise, the headset is a great choice for the price.

First off the sound drivers are pretty top notch and don’t need much editing and the ear muffs and head rest are comfortable as well my only complaint is it could sag a little if u don’t have the perfect distance on the sliders,steel series are a little more comfortable and noise canceling but the SS sound drivers aren’t as good as these,also the 3.5 aux doesn’t work with an audio interface such as the scarlet solo solid for gaming not good for studio recording

The DS502 gaming headset is a superior headset at a fairly modest price. It’s not cheap by any means, the quality is so good. I like that the vibration in the headset is optional but it adds a really cool element to video game experience if you use it. The surround sound is so cool to hear things as you would if you were naturally in the environment. I’m glad I bought it and I feel like most people will too if you need a gaming headset that doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet but offers a high quality microphone and booming bass. My only complaint is that after a few hours of wear, they do make my ears ache but I also have very sensitive ears. They’re still very comfortable on my head and ears otherwise.

I bought these because I was looking for a headset to use for ARMA 3, the military simulation game. The console headphones I tried to use with an adapter on my PC would only produce the gunshot sounds out of my left ear and voice chat only out of my right. I was a little skeptical at first, I know MSI is a quality company when it comes to PC gaming, but every other surround sound headphones I could find around the same price were always some Chinese brand that didn't have the best reviews. So seeing this headset for around $40, I was still pretty unsure of how well the surround sound would work. After plugging this USB headset in, and downlding the headphone driver online*, I was thoroughly impressed with the surround sound! Now I could actually hear where enemies were shooting from and where heavy vehicles were coming from! I'm so glad I purchased these headphones! If you want to listen to music with these, they're pretty good, but you don't really feel the bass compared to using headphones specifically made to listen to music like beats, Sony, and those other brands. *You don't need to download the driver for the surround sound to work, but it gives you options to fine tune it and mess with your microphone inputs.
