This laptop is worth the money. I have only had it for a few days and it is running smoothly. All the games I have played on it I can run at the highest graphic settings with no loss of FPS. The 240Hz screen is amazing but I can really only notice the difference when using a web browser and not when gaming. Maybe people who have used these types of screens before could easily pick up the differences when gaming but a average consumer probably would not. The computer boots up fast as well as opens and closes programs fast, unlike my previous laptop. To top it off the computer has a really good cooling system as when playing Marvel Avengers on very high graphic settings the temperature stays somewhere between the high 70s to low 80s. All in all if you want to save some money but still get a high end gaming laptop then this is the choice for you. Update (02/10/2022): After having this computer for a little over a year, it is still working fine. The only issue I had with it over this time period is that the screen would go black and would only come on again if I closed the laptop lid and reopened it. However, this issue has not occurred in a long time so it was probably a software issue that got fixed with a patch. The OS has been updated to Windows 11 which is running fine as well. Still able to play games on high settings. I even hooked this computer up to a 4k monitor and was able to run a somewhat recent game in 4k on the highest settings at 60fps. However, every now and then the fps dropped below 60fps but nothing that made the game unplayable. Overall a very good product. ... show more

    • Look up Killer components and software before buying

So this comes with some Killer components for the Wifi. I wont write pages upon pages here you can look up the issues. All I can say is I have spent 20+ hours trying to fix this and I cannot. Windows updater keeps updating and auto installing this software which trashes your internet connection and even when I follow Killers official instruction on their website it doesn't stop it. Microsoft has an option in windows to disable auto updating drivers and apps and its still happening. The weirdest part is it does not show up in programs to uninstall, but when I search for it the program is there and I can go to it. But I cannot uninstall it even with the killer official uninstaller. Ive blown so much time on this issue I am frustrated beyond belief and I believe the end result is that I will have to return this computer and make sure the next one I buy has no killer components. Its just so shady beyond belief. An auto installed program you can't stop or uninstall that does not detect as a program with anything not even third party uninstallers. ... show more

I had recently imported an MSI GE66 laptop from the US to UAE. Had just used it for a few days when a bios issue came up and the computer failed to start. I contacted MSI and they told me to send it to an authorised service centre in Dubai (Jumbo electronics). Jumbo assured me that they would repair the laptop, but just needed confirmation of the warranty from MSI. However, MSI responded that I needed to have visited the states and needed me to show the flight ticket as proof. I had brought this laptop paying all the import duties and shipping taxes of about 200 dollars. This is the first time I’ve heard that an international warranty needs a proof of visitation to be valid. Am I in the wrong here, or did MSI just cheat me of an extra 230 bucks? I’m so upset and angry cause I’ve done months of research before buying this laptop, and now it feels like I’ve been scammed by them.
