  • Absolute Unit of a Graphics Card
This thing is an absolute unit. It looks WAY bigger in person than it does in pictures. It's literally bigger than my full grown cat is when he's laid out flat. I have been absolutely blown away by this card, the cooling and performance on it is just incredible . I haven't seen it get above 130F at 100% load once yet, although I do have 3 120mm fans directly below it. My previous card (4060 FE) would consistently hit 160-165F at 100% load, and is at least 1/4th as powerful as this card is. I'm consistently getting 110+ FPS @ 4K on Borderlands 4 (which is known for being very demanding and poorly optimized) with max settings and thats without even having frame gen on (I've seen it push 200+FPS on that game with frame gen). I don't think there's anything I can throw at this card that it can't handle. And it also has lots of real world uses I can use it towards other than just gaming, I can use this card to do so many things that are related to my job it's not even funny. It was expensive (even at MSRP) but will 100% eventually pay for its self in the line of work I do, and there are lots of other real world uses outside of my line of work I can use this for as well if I ever want to pick up any new hobbies. The possibilities are endless. And on top of all of this, it looks amazing in my PC. Very very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend this card if you can get it at MSRP like I did. Quick note about the photos: Second to last photo is this GPU (Vanguard SOC 5090) compared to a Founders Edition RTX 4060, just to give you and idea of how massive this thing is. PC pictured in photos is my first build and parts in it are: Case - Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo XL Fans - Lian Li Wirless Infinity SL + LCD AIO - Lian Li Galahad II LCD PSU - Lian Li Edge Platinum 1300W Motherboard - MSI X870E Carbon CPU - AMD 9950X3D GPU - MSI Vanguard SOC RTX 5090 (the card you're viewing now on Amazon) Definitely go for it if you're questioning buying this card. Edit: Just wanted to post an update here. I continue to be even more impressed by this card. I recently undervolted + overclocked it, and now my temps don't get higher than 120F at 100% load while gaming. Absolutely incredible. Seriously seriously glad I didn't spend $500 more getting a liquid cooled 5090, because this thing runs ice cold as it is. Blows me away how this thing can run 40-50F cooler than a 4060 does. ... show more

  • This is the graphics card your looking for.
It’s been a beast so far. Has worked perfectly. I got mine for a great value as the price was close to retail. It’s a big card so make sure you have room in your case. It’s not that big of an upgrade from a 4090, but if you gotta have the best this is the one. I game mostly in 4k and I am getting 80+ frame rates in any game I play with max setting. Great card! ... show more

  • Cool and quiet, a worthy upgrade
This model is very quiet and runs cool. I upgraded from a 4090 (as you call still sell those for a lot), and this 5090 made a noticeable difference in frame rates for Cyberpunk 2077 and Warhammer Darktide 40K. I had concerns about the power usage and heat of the 5090, so I am undervolting to 850mV, and the GPU consumes only 250W when running these games at 4K 144 fps with max settings (including raytracing) and Framegen X2 (I don't like X4). If you are the type of person who has to have the best, has the money, and are sitting there debating about whether you should get a 5090, but have concerns about power usage and heat, or that it's not a huge generational upgrade -- just buy it. Otherwise you'll be thinking about it for at least another 18 months until the 6090 comes out, if you can even get one then. The ~35% or so increase in framerates at 4K will get you from not having your fps or settings maxxed, to getting there. ... show more

  • Good card
Had a 4070 ti super , with this card my frame rate jumped up 100% or more at 4K . I’m on a 5800x 3d cpu

  • Worth it? Yes.
You're going to need a bigger mid tower. Think a Corsair 3500 series. It was being crushed in my Lancool Mesh 2. Not as much RGB as I'm used to. So here's some a rage frame rates at 4K with DLAA involved: Expedition 33: 82-92. Stellar Blade: 100-118 and many of the game I play can be maxed out. Definitely a monster at 4K. It's costs a ton but for the future proofing? Worth it. Make sure you use the support bar. This thing Is massive. As for noise, I honestly don't know. It's not louder than my case fans but I play with headphones. If you're worried about buying this or the Astral, I'd say this not just because of the price, but also because the Astral is noiser. If you need the extra 200MHz, MSI Afterburner can easily bring you there. ... show more

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! 5/5 STARS!!
Absolute BEAST of a card!! Truly amazed with the performance. Even upgrading from a 4080 super the difference is so apparent. Installation was simple and straightforward. Cyberpunk on maxed out settings shows no signs of frame drops or overheating. Graphics on my 4K OLED ASUS monitor makes this purchase worth every cent. If you have the means and looking to upgrade, do it!! You WILL NOT regret it. ... show more

  • Awesome card
Coming from a 5090 Gaming Trio this card does run considerably cooler due to the vapor chamber cooler design. Very nice looking card that runs like a champ with very low noise.

  • ComfyUI and AI notes + dedicated game server.
With ComfyUI Flux before was taking minutes to produce images on my 3080, now takes 2 seconds. Had no idea a meak 10 gig vram was starving my system so much. Watched a video on the new WAN 2.2 video renders he mentioned 5 second video clips on his 4090 took 12 minutes. With this was producing them in 2 mins 20 sec. Was surprised how big it was. It was 1/2 inch longer than my 3080 and almost an inch thicker. Very military grade feel to it. Cooling in mind I will sleep well knowing I passed on the MSI Gaming Trio. We're living in the future. Thoughts highly recommend building your best PC and make a dedicated Gaming Server for amazing console experience with Bazzite SteamOS installed on it. Stick it in the closet next to your NAS. The days of having RGB boxes are on their way out the door, repurpose old PCs and use them as your terminals. No longer blasted by heat amazing console experience game streamed through all your devices in the house from your Game Server. <3 Amazon's Pay in 5 Payment option no credit check or otherwise would never have considered an outrageously piece of equipment. So far i'm glad i made the upgrade. ... show more
