  • Good Temperature and performance. Ultrawide 1440p
Performs very well on ultrawide 1440p. Temperatures stay in the low to mid 60C during high gpu games and in the 50s during less GPU demanding games. And it maxes at about 72C during stress tests. But make sure your BIOS version is up to date. Otherwise you may have stability issues. But it works stable now, even after auto overclock in the Nvidia app. Great GPU choice for ultrawide 1440p. ... show more

  • Worth, not $900 worth
Great card, got it for $800. Looks amazing in my white Corsair 3500x case. Don’t pay above $100 msrp for this! Haven’t gotten about 65c for temps during gaming, paired with a 9800x3d, this runs anything at max graphics. Also has smart AI feature on the fans, so under no/low load, the gpu fans don’t spin. Which has led to times where my idle temps are higher than gaming temps, doesn’t bother me but good to know as a buyer ... show more

  • TLDR; Card is fast af. Nice build quality. Features are nice, but.. price.
Adjusted review for pricing. Lost a star because it’s not worth $100 over other cards. It does look nice, but it’s readily available direct from manufacturer for way less than most sellers are selling this at, even on Amazon. That aside, the card is a 1440p ray tracing machine. AC: Shadows, Clair Obscure, Oblivion Remastered (which is… rough right now) all run well with ray tracing at ultra. I’ll give a simple statement about the very hated Multi-Frame Gen feature - few games support it anyway, most only use the standard 2x we’ve had for years now, it’s not that serious, it’s not a GPT- powered AI model here. Sometimes it sucks. Not what any party talking about it makes it out to be. No, nvidia. We’re not getting 700fps. But, we’re not getting the 32 fps everyone else says either. Be reasonable about it yourself. It’s a 16GB card with almost 9000 CUDA cores on a 256 bus. Power on this MSI card usually maxes around 280w, hard to get it higher. Cooling is no issue, ALTHOUGH, the OC PLUS variant of this card has a 4th heat pipe. This one has 3. If SFF is your concern given this is one of the smallest 5070ti’s available, consider the OC plus model. It’s the same MSRP, but rarely available as well. I wanted this one because it’s made of some alloy metal. Regardless of what type it is, it looks very nice in low light. Has some rose gold tint in certain lightning, it looks good. Given that I’m not an RGB puke fan, this is great. Build quality is nice. Included stand is not needed. It’s about the same weight as my 3060 12Gb I’m replacing with this. No sag, which is VERY nice given these cards love to do that and crack over time. Overall, it’ll last for 3-4 years easily. Update 7/17/25 Card uses varying power with newer drivers. Drivers affect this card heavily. Now power can reach 330w on heavily ray traced games. I decided to check temps in GPU-Z and was surprised when it was recognized as a 5070ti Ventus 3x. However, temps are not what you’d see from a Ventus. Temp delta between core hotspot and core is less than 8 degrees. Memory delta from core never exceeds 10 degrees. This card cools better than the ASUS Tuf Gaming and has comparable temperatures to the Zotac Solid OC (non-CORE model). For the price it’s going now, it’s one of the better choices. Highest core temperature I saw during a hot July heat wave with 78~F ambient temperatures was 73C. Warm, but I was also pushing the card hard in Assassins Creed: Shadows at 1440p DLAA, and the room was well heatsoaked. In my roomy case with ample airflow it will be fine, but this reinforces the need for the OC plus model for SFF builds. ... show more
