  • Had it for 2 years! Still great👍
(UPDATED) Had this graphics card for 2 years now and it’s still running perfectly with no issues. My last review was over a year ago and the card still runs great. Runs COD Warzone max settings at 145 fps, runs Fortnite at around 300 fps. I got Minecraft to run at 4500 fps 16 render distance which is just absolutely insane. Perfect graphics card for me and I would totally recommend it. I love the colors on it to match my pc lights too. I thought this would crack out after about 2 months because it’s refurbished but it is still running after 2 years and I love it. 5 stars for sure. ... show more

  • Awesome Card
I got this card when it was 679 and it's awesome. Runs in 50s to mid 60s when gaming for me but super quiet. I went from a GTX 1060 and I love it. Would definitely recommend if you want a really good 1440p card.

  • Bye Bye Consoles!
Now that most popular games are cross-play I'm not finding any good reason to splurge on a console that will be outdated by the time I can actually buy one for MSRP. Rather than waste my money on proprietary tech I decide to upgrade my PC with this mid-upper tier GPU from a well-known brand like MSI. This model from MSI has several extra features you won't find on other brands like a few RGB lights that you can configure and a "Dragon" software to monitor and edit performance if you aren't a fan of Radeon Adrenalin. There are a variety of sites for detailed specs on exactly what games you plan on running, but for most gamers, a 6800 will get the job done. If you catch this on sale I'd avoid hesitating long due to recent supply concerns. Lastly, know that the most recent AMD launch of the 6850 and 6950 models show little change in performance over the existing models and in most cases won't be worth the additional cost. ... show more

  • Not for overclockers, SEE EDIT
[EDIT] It's still a great card. I have had a problem with AMD Adrenalin, the Metrics Overlay, in game or out can cause a crash but the card works fine, you just can't look at how fine it's working in realtime.. [END EDIT] It's a great card, unless you enjoy the experience of overclocking to get the most out of a card. The general one click overclocking is about the best you will do because AMD put software restriction on the card...because otherwise it would be too good and cannibalize the rest of their lines sales. Mine crashes at around 2300mhz clock, regardless of voltage. You can still undervolt and I consider it just short of amazing in that regard. Stock is 1025mv, much lower than the XT variants and mine is stable undervolted at 990mv. In Unigen Heaven 1080P, that's good for 240+ frames at 215W and temperatures under 60C. There is also Chill in the adrenalin software for power saving, you can limit the framerate to 60 if you are playing on a 60hz monitor and it will maintain it at the lowest power level. Mine was doing at most 53W! and temperatures below 55C with fan usually at Zero. If you are an overclocking enthusiast, buy any of the RX6###XT models as they will be more satisfying for you. If you want a cool, quiet card that gives better performance than a 6700XT without breaking a sweat This one is worth the money...even though it immediately dropped in price by $25 right after I bought it. It's also an attractive card, and has a MSI Mystic Light bar and lighted MSI branding. I also think this RX6800 is a reasonable upgrade for many systems. It's eventually going to go in another system I'm building but I installed it in my system with the Ryzen 1600AF and it works fine with very low frametimes which is an indicator that you shouldn't get stuttering. A word about power supplies. I installed a 650W power supply because I had one on hand but I don't think it was entirely necessary. I don't have mechanical or optical drives, and the power supply calculator said my system needed a supply for 413W, counting the card at it's rated wattage of 240W. I watched a video of someone who had theirs on a test bench and his system was pulling 365W, another video with a 5900X full system that was pulling 440W. I think I could have left the Corsair CV550 in my system and still had significan't safety factor. Just something to consider if you have a 550W power supply you are really proud of and don't want to pull it out. Or you can play it safe and find a Corsair CV650 for about $53, which is what I had laying around. ... show more

  • Great card, Great thermals
Bought this card in order to hand down my 5700XT Nitro+ to my daughter. It preforms great, and temps in both gaming and benchmarks top out around 41C in a 23C room. extremely satisfied.

... show more

  • Driver Disaster
The card is nice, but the AMD drivers are not good. I came from Nvidia and never experienced the driver dying like it does regularly now, and give me a black screen until it restarts. The web browser is choppy because of the hardware acceleration. If I had known it was going to be like this, I probably wouldn't have bought it. At least until I read that the drivers were solid again. I'm running a 5-month old version now to see if it'll fix the issues. ... show more
