  • Works on a 2010 Mac Pro with no drivers or extra power needed!
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
Just wanted to let other potential buyers know that I bought the MSI Gaming Radeon RX 570 256-bit 8GB GDRR5 version but was a little worried it wouldn't work with my old Mac Pro since Mac OS was not listed as compatible. I know the RX 580 works but is nearly double the price of the 570 with relatively similar specs (and the 570 is way better than my stock GPU from 2010!) I received the card, plugged it in and used 1 auxiliary power port on the mother board (which is the same setup as the original Radeon graphics card) and it powered up fine, no drivers needed, and no issues whatsoever. Because this card isn't made for Mac you won't see the boot screen so keep your original card in case you ever need that, but otherwise this worked great. You will also need to purchase an 8pin to mini-6pin cable to connect into the power on the motherboard. I don't do any gaming but do a fair bit of Garage Band and iMovie, as well as some graphics intensive video production. This card handles it fine and is good value for the money. I wish it had two HDMI ports as I had to buy a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter but the output is crisp and clean either way. Highly recommend if you are a Mac Pro user wanting to upgrade at a lower cost. ... show more

  • Excellent Card
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
This card was able to handle great solid frame rates for almost every game I wanted to play. I recently upgrade to Vega 64, but that is not a fair comparison. For the price, it feels like I got a great deal for a lot of power. The only down side was that it was definitely noisy when going full on for some games, but it certainly could play them without an issue. For example, it could play Fallout 4 at medium to high settings, but it would spin up and be loud. Not a problem if you use headphones. Anything less than that, it was dead silent. I had a great experience with this card, and will be utilizing it in another PC I build. ... show more

  • This card rocks, even if you don't wanna overclock.
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
I don't know what the bad reviewers are talking about, but the card I received is perfect. I tend to believe that bad reviews are from people who install wrong or something similar and expect the product to work like they did it correctly. I do overclock this card, and I will tell you it's noisy. That is perfectly understandable with the stock fans that came on it. The best part is, at full clock, the stock fans will keep it cool. My clock is -18mv, 1400mhz, and 2200 memory clock and it holds up perfectly fine for any game I've thrown at it. The stock fans keep it at around 64°C, with proper air flow. Do not hesitate to buy this card. It is a good one. ... show more

  • Card May require Frequency Mhz modification to prevent crashing.
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
First off, when you get this card to actually work, it works beautifully. That being said, I was forced to use the software that came with it to modify the max frequency mhz threshold to 1130. The reason is, that when it was allowed to reach its full 1270 threshold, the pc would do a hard crash. This can be done by using the software that came with it. Go to Gaming > Global Settings > Global Wattman and scroll till you see Frequency Mhz and click it. It will change to Dynamic. Now, replace the last 3 numbers to 1130. So, 1190->1130, 1235 -> 1130 and 1270 -> 1130 and click apply at the top. Try your game. You may be able to set it higher, but you'd have to test till you find one that works. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Great For The Price
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
I built my first gaming PC with nothing but online tutorials and YouTube videos and I bought this when it was time for an upgrade - I didn't even need to look anything up to figure this out - installation is practically common sense. I've had it for a long while now, I wanted to wait and test the life of it before writing this review, and it has withstood the test of time against everything I've thrown at it. The newest titles run smoothly even at high settings. Ultra settings definitely kick down the frames noticeably though. Great upgrade for the price. Exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • Won't 3D render
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
Upon having used this card for about two weeks, it became apparent that it was unsuitable for games. I tried everything I knew to do and then went to consult the oracle (Google). There are literally thousands of blog posts asking for help with Radeon 570 cards due to crashing in games. After about 200 hrs of troubleshooting and researching the problem, I came to the determination that this card wouldn't meet our needs and returned it. I have a friend who I asked about it. He too, bought two of these cards around Christmas 2018, for his sons. His cards are experiencing the same lock-ups and crashes mine did. I went to Best Buy, where I could walk in to replace if necessary, and bought a MSI NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB card. Popped it in and now all the games run on max settings between 70 and 130 fps. Runs cool and quiet. I recommend not purchasing the RX 570 Armor. It's not worth the trouble, $166 or aggravation. Let the crypto-miners have them! ... show more

  • Deffective Item sold! BOTH Amazon as well as this Vendor should be help liable!
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
Bought this GPU for my son's Christmas Present over a month before he actually got to install it. The card didn't work (after working with MSI and AMD support!) because I was past the 30 day return policy, nobody would help. Neither Amazon nor the Vendor is willing to make good on this. All I wanted was a replacement or a refund. I'm willing to pay the shipping and send this card back! Amazon's bot has asked me a few times if this has been resolved and I keep answering "NO"...but all Amazon does is send me the Seller's contact info. I have NOT received any responses to the several attempts to contact the seller. I honestly thing that this Seller knew they were selling a defective product! An because it was sold via AMAZON, Amazon should be held responsible. Amazon should contact this seller and initiate some type of protocol to protect future purchases. ... show more

  • I like it but Grandma does not.
Size: RX 570 Style: RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
So far so good. Easy installation, I don't think I even updated my driver's before it just recognized the card and took off from there. My games look beautiful and is handling everything at 60 FPS on highest settings running 3860X2140 resolution. Simply stunning on a 65" 4K TV. It doesn't have any issues with overheating as of yet so that's a good sign. If you have it in your budget for a GPU for under $200, I'd recommend it. If you're looking for a pillow for your grandma to sleep on, keep looking. This is a gaming peripheral, not household furnishings. ... show more
