I'm absolutely speechless on how awesome it looks. Everything in it's design screams premium and also, loved how MSI is slowly moving away from the Red accents. I know Red typically represents the gaming gear across the board, I just hate it when all these companies force it and ends up in either mismatching our build colors or, if you're like me you simply don't like the red color. This card is chunky, make sure to check if you have plenty of room in your case if you're planning on buying one. It measures exactly 327 x 140 x 55.6 mm. My radiator placement is at the front of my case so, this along with it's front fans needed at least 380mm of clearance. The card itself it's a nice upgrade from my GTX 1070. It dominates everything at 3440 x 1440p. It's silent and the cooling is perfect, considering some people are worried that one of the fans is smaller in comparison to the other 2. I advise you to download MSI's Afterburner beta and use OC scanner. If you're on the conservative side, this API overclock tool is for you. After you open Afterburner > Press CTRL+F to get to OC scanner > Scan > Let it run until is done (time varies depending of your components and you may experience some screen flashing since it's running the stress tests for you) > Go back to Afterburner and crank up all the way Power and Temp limit. Enjoy easy overclocking. Be aware the OC scanner won't touch your GPU memory though. This GPU comes with an Anti-sag brace support, making it a triple slot GPU...no...just...no. It looked way too bulky for my taste so I decided to use upHere's GPU Brace Support, which is a small stand that you can use even for SLI configs. Best part it uses a magnet instead of adhesive, kudos for that!

This thing is a BEAST. It has handled everything I've thrown at it from MK11, Starcraft with full setting and 2000 units, Black Desert at maximum ultra setting and everything else. I can stream and play games at the same time at high quality no lagging this card is beautiful (also literally speaking) the RGB on it is subtle but pretty. Forwarning this card is HEAVY. It comes with a under bar to help hold it up, it hold mine up pretty well, though some might want to put a little stand underneath. I would NOT recommend just letting the card hold itself with just the motherboard. Be very careful when installing, I recommend installing this card with the case on its side. Also heads up this card is LONG. So long that I had to leave a fan off of the cpu liquid cooler vent becuase my case was about a half centimeter too small to fit both, so bear that in mind if you have a smaller case. Overall I was nervous about getting this type of graphics card cause a lot of reviews say bad things about them crashing, I got a warranty plan for this just in case anything does happen in the future. But I'm glad to say that so far (*knocks on wood*) this card works beautifully and quietly. It's actually really quiet which is another plus. Super happy with this card. :)

I bought this amazing card to replace an MSI GTX 1080 aero that was more than adequate. However, being a long-time gamer who loved quake 2 immensely, decided to upgrade to an RTX card so I could play the recently re-released quake 2 RTX. This card is a beast in both performance and footprint. It’s almost 13” long (that’s what she said) and takes up 2 slots and another 2 if you use the supplied brace to help prevent the large GPU from sagging. This card is easy to install, it make sure you have enough room in your case. I needed to remove an unused hard drive support bracket to make it fit. Since I already had an MSI graphics card, all of the utility software was already installed except afterburner, which I installed. I also installed the LED lighting control software so I can sync up the lights from my MSI motherboard with the GPU. It’s a fluff benefit, but still kind of cool if you have a window in your PC case to view the interior. Performance is really why I bought this thing and I’ve not been disappointed. Ran some benchmarking tests and results came back off the charts. Playing games looks amazing and while I play mostly first person shooters, I also like The Golf Club 2 and the graphics on ultra are awesome. I’ve been able to ramp up the graphics level to ‘Ultra’ on every single game I’ve played and not one issue. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I do have a g-sync monitor and this is an Nvidia card. I know the price for this gaming x trio is up there, but it’s worth it. I wasn’t overly happy that 2 days after this card was delivered, they announced the RTX 2080 super cards for almost the same price, but oh well.

RTX isn't ready yet and you shouldn't pay for it. Buy a 1080ti. They are stable and reliable....and perform at the same level as this card. My card completely degrade after owning only 3 days. This is a joke for the price point and honestly wasn't impressed with the performance either.

I got a 4K monitor, which was a mistake - once you've seen 4K, 1080 looks blurry as heck and you can't go back But my GTX 980 couldn't reliably do 4K without chugging down to 15-20 FPS. Very noticeable. So I finally got this thing, which plays every game I've thrown at it at 60+ FPS in 4K and ultra high settings. That's all I wanted and it delivered! It's very quiet thanks to the three giant fans and it actually feels like it's putting out less heat than the GTX 980 did. It's got three Displaylink ports and an HDMI port, which is nice since I've got three monitors to drive. So the caveats: First, this thing is physically a freaking monster. I think it's about twice the volume of the 980. About 4 pounds (it comes with a weight bearing bracket), the entire front of the card is a heatsink with three fans, there are heat pipes everywhere. It barely fit in my PC (a quarter inch to spare) so check the size first. Second, from your power supply you will need two 2x8 connectors. Thankfully the card comes with a 2x6 to 2x8 adapter, and I had a 2x6 and a 2x6+2x1. If you can handle that, it's amazing. Oh yeah, and download MSI's software so you can overclock it and turn off those clown circus RGB lights on it.

With the current video card shortage I had to look elsewhere for a video card to put in the system I’m building. Came across this card and even contacted the seller because I had a question. I read the reviews and did my research on the seller before making my purchase. I saw a great deal of positives in using this seller from my research on them and decided to make my purchase. While the price was a bit steep, all 20 series graphics cards have been steep in price for a long time now. There was only one problem and the seller and I both resolved it on our respective ends as it had nothing to do with the seller. More a problem with the delivery driver which wasn’t the usual one that brings packages to my home. I ran a bunch of tests on the card and so far it runs smooth as butter. I did a number of stress tests and it passed with flying colors. The card even still had the new factory fresh smell when I removed it from its protective sleeve. The seller of this item is a seller I recommend, as from this purchase alone, I can see they care about the product arriving on time and as purchased. I will definitely check this seller in the future for tech purchases. Thank you for the awesome video card!

I broke my founders edition gtx 1070 on accident and didn't know if I could fix it so I decided to look for a new gpu. Saw the new line up of rtx line up. I. HAD. TO. HAVE. THIS! I solely wanted it for its looks alone. Yes, I did know it was powerful card and I use it for 4k gaming or 1080/2k gameplay while streaming certain games without manually overclocking it. It hasn't gone passed 140~f. It is beautifully built so that there is space for air to get through, made with great materials like that aluminum back plate and beautiful heat pipes which make this graphics card surprisingly cooler than my nivida founders gtx 1070. It also passively cools. Meaning the fans don't turn on till a certain temperature reaches which has only done that once for me. Still haven't figured out how to change the rgb colors to anything other than the stock pastel rainbow cycle. I don't have a problem with it though because its why I wanted it originally. It even comes with a bracket to put under it to help the gpu sag beefy cards get which makes mine perfectly straight. I bought this solely with my own money from working my butt for Christmas. I got it late November and writing this review now to let you all wanting to consider this card a chance to know a true experience from a short period of time. Although there are many different cards you can get out there this one will last you a good bit if you think saving is worth it. I sure think it is.

This card will chew through the maximum settings of any game I've tired so far and will still average over 100fps, that is if the resolution is under 4k. At 4k I've found that I had to lower a setting or two one notch from maximum to get a steady 60 fps. The first thing to go is anti aliasing, turning it off completely will usually be enough to get a steady 60 fps at 4k. Scaled down to a 1080p monitor I don't see any jagged edges most of the time so getting rid of AA isn't a problem, but FXAA has been pretty capable of cleaning up the left over jaggies if there are some without much of a performance hit. As for the hardware side of things, this card is HUGE. It's long, it's thick, it's heavy. So heavy in fact, that it comes with a bracket you screw onto the remaining expansion slot covers to support the card. All of that bulk is not for nothing though, as this card does not get above 70c and stays basically inaudible, I seriously can't hear it over my case fans which is a huge improvement over my old blower style gtx 970, which would get up to 80c under full load and sound like a leaf blower doing it. Below a certain temperature this card's fans don't even spin so it's completely silent, and because of the size of the heat sink, it really takes a lot to get it up to the temperature where the fans do start spinning. The brushed aluminum back plate looks really good and the RGB is a nice touch if you're into that sort of thing. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this card. I know there's the whole controversy about the 20 series being over priced, especially for the relatively small performance gain over the last generation and I guess if you were lucky enough to snag a 1080ti when they were less than $500 then that would be a better deal but if you're upgrading from an older card or basically a card that isn't a 1080ti then I think it's solid upgrade.
