Years ago I only bought MSI mainboards to build my own systems, but somehow got sidetracked to Asus, (Big mistake.) MSI made a comeback with my trust while providing reliable quality and now my two MSI mini ITX NAS systems both run a water cooled i5 cpu with 64 Gb ram, 10 Gb fiber network, and Truenas Scale. The Cubi Professional is no exception in quality. It's quiet, fast, reliable, and stays cool. I'm using the Thunderbolt port for my "Express 4M2" NVMe external storage, and the storage unit has Thunderbolt pass-through which allows a Solo 10G SFP+ fiber network connection. This compliments my Homelab/Office 10 Gb network with really great speeds. I haven't found any cons yet, but time will tell. I do wish MSI had included the external on/off cable button, but it's absolutely not a deal breaker. This little unit replaced an older HP laptop with ease. I'm very satisfied and hope this Cubi Professional unit lasts for a long time. ... show more

MSI has been making PCs for a long time. I looked at a bunch of others and they all seemed like there were just too many reports of problems. Most of the other companies have only been around a few years. Anyway, this was delivered in a day, and I plugged it in and went through the setup and it worked great. Only issue I had was to make sure I used the right USB port and correct cable for peripherals. It is fast and seems to be reliable. After 12 years of use it was time to replace the Mac Mini. While another Mac Mini would have been nice, I started looking at small footprint Windows computers. For the money, you get so much more with the MSI computer. There are plenty of ports to connect monitors, external gear and speakers. I'm not big into all of the internal specs of computer hardware, I just know that this computer is fast, has more RAM than most and offers plenty of storage. Purchased this computer February 8th 2025. Did not get it set up until May. It worked for a few weeks then would only boot to BIOS. Called MSI, they diagnosed as a hard drive issue but said they did not install the drive, it was PConlineus, so that is not under warranty with them. The first one I got in the mail was dead on arrival, would not turn on. I was slightly disappointed the way the seller advertises the product, it appears at face value that the product is sold directly by MSI. According to the support info on Amazon, I was told to contact MSI directly for tech support. I called them and they said they didn't sell it to me and I could send it back to them but it would take weeks. Instead, I requested a refund through Amazon. The return was flawless and they sent me a brand new PC and it works just fine. I will say the PC is very loud, the fan is like listening to a drone flying. The PC fan is very inconsistent, it spools up and is loud, then fluctuates but seemingly randomly even when I'm not doing anything. I've never experienced that before in decades of PC use. Lastly, I'm a little turned off by how old the Windows install is. I've spent literally hours installing updates that seem years old. ... show more

I have purchased several of these for my company. They have worked fine for months and have been excellent hardware from MSI. Unfortunately, a recent Microsoft update to Windows 11 has caused these to stop being able to correctly network with each other. MSI stated that they don't load any software, they just build the hardware. Therefore, PC OnLine US must load Windows onto this hardware. According to Microsoft articles Windows has been loaded incorrectly onto these computers. My attempts to reach this vendor for assistance have been unsuccessful. They responded immediately to my first message, requesting additional information, which I provided. It has now been four days and they haven't responded to any of my subsequent messages. So my advice to any buyers who need one computer for personal use is to go ahead. But if you need these for business use you should find another vendor. ... show more
