I got this laptop because my current laptop was a little older and could not handle playing games on steam. This computer is light weight and slim. I did not realize there is not a number pad on the keyboard and I was kinda frustrated that I did not notice that. If I play games or watch videos on this laptop, the laptop gets really hot to the touch and the fan starts spinning vigorously to try to cool it. I even bought a cooling pad with 6 fans to counter the heat generated but the fans do not cool it at all. I wish I could get a refund and get a different laptop because I am not very happy with my purchase. ... show more

With less than an hour of use (on my desk, with no vents blocked) this thing got so hot I couldn't even touch it. This thing is either defective or has a MAJOR design flaw, I had it for one day and have already scheduled a UPS pickup to return it.

1= In about this item says its usb-c gen2 its not its gen 1... 2= For a creator laptop why is the usb-c not do dp .. dumb.. 3= When received battery was flatlined last about 1.5-2 hours Its sad I like this laptop, but I might have to return it, they should really make a dock for laptops like these so you have options as a creator... ... show more

I take great care of this laptop. I opened it up this morning and found a dead pixel. Have had the laptop for about 6 months. I contacted MSI for Warranty support, hopefully they're able to help, but from what I have read on their forums, the screen needs to have at least 3 dead pixels to qualify for Warranty support. Terrible Customer Support if that's the case. Update: They said that the dead pixels did not qualify for warranty coverage. Absolutely one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I will never buy from MSI ever again. Terrible product, terrible company. ... show more
