Both batteries purchased have swelled into spicy pillows after fewer than 20 charge cycles at 500mA (well within the spec). Batteries were both well protected physically, never discharged at more the 0.125 C, and never left a climate controlled room. Wish I had just directly lit my $40 on fire instead... ... show more

    • Make sure you check the polarity at the JST connector!

The battery works just fine, it was just wired backwards for my application. Easy enough to pop the pins from the JST connector and switch them, but I was lucky I didn't fry anything.

    • I modified my my rear view bicycle camera.
I replaced the 5000 ma battery with this 10000 ma battery and I now get about 6 hrs per charge instead of about 3 hrs with the smaller battery.
