Ok, so i start alot of fires from making biochar. I used to use my dragon torch with a 20lb bottle and it did the job but dragging it around was not fun. So i bought a torch that uses 1lb bottles. Having these bottles is so much better. Refills are easy with the refill adapter and I have saved money at the chiropractor since i don't lug around the big bottle. It is illegal to refill and transport the coleman style disposable tanks and transport, even though the propane police have never asked, its always good to stay within the laws. One feature i like is the vent to refill. I can always top off a tank after running the torch for a while to keep a full tank on it. Great product. I highly recommend.

These 1LB refillable fuel cylinders are easy to refill and function flawlessly. They also don't leak and are of high quaility. I was a little reluctant to buy them at first due to the price, but they really are top notch. I put them through frequent use and have never experienced a problem with them. Aside from being durable and noticably thicker than the competition, the fuel capacity seems on point. While they're on the expensive side, the value is evident and I feel I didn't just pay for the name, which I appreciate.

This showed up last night. I haven't tried to use it yet but I will in the next day or two in case there are any functional issues with it so I can get it exchanged... But, it doesn't look as nice as I expected either. I'm pretty sure the canister is new but it may have sat on a shelf for a while before being sold. The paint is fairly beat up and surface rust has started around the base ring. The brass valve is tarnished and dirty. The relief valve and ring are both covered in corrosion too. Update: I now have two of these canisters. If they looked like new products I would give them 5 stars. Functionally, they are fantastic. The integrated bleeder valve is perfect. Filling the canisters is amazingly easy. I can even use them to empty "almost" empty 20 and 30 pound cylinders before refilling or exchanging them. So there is no waste in the 20 and 30 pounders. Filling these cylinders when they are partially filled is just as easy as filling them when they are empty. Now that I have two of these cylinders, I've been able to recycle two arm fulls of the single use canisters which helps with space management in an already cramped garage. If they can figure out a way to get these delivered without having tarnished brass, scratched paint and rust, they would be perfect. As a side note: If you use these, buy some of the brass caps with seals. They will insure no leaks, keep debris out of the valve and protect the threads. The plastic caps that come with the canisters are okay but the brass option is more secure.

I bought two and got one solid one and one that had a bad seal. I registered the bottles at fuelkeg.com and opened a warranty claim for the leaky one via their contact form. They responded in a timely manner and after a few questions they sent me a new one without any hassle. Filling them was easy and trouble free for me using their refilling kit. While the refilling kit is a bit steep, the savings I'll have over the years using refillable bottles will more than make up for it. However, I will not purchase these through Amazon again. Pick them up from someone local, they list all their retailers on their site, so you can inspect the bottle before purchase. Amazon decided to ship these to me banging around inside a box with no packing material to protect the bottles. They do not ship in any sort of manufacturer packaging and they looked like they'd been sitting on an open shelf in a humid warehouse for a bit too long. Overall, aside from the incompetent shipping method and one leaky seal, the bottles are sturdy and well made and the powder coating survived the shipping just fine.

These are expensive at first, but worth it if you use a lot of disposable bottles each year. These cost maybe $1.00-1.50 to fill up compared to about $5 each for disposable ones. Also, you can fill them up while you are camping, so you dont need to bring a truckload of them. That, and these seem to last longer too. They are kinda heavy due to the thicker housing. The only thing you have to watch out for is when you are filling them. The seal comes out of the bottle when removing them from the filling nozzle. If you lose the seal they will leak when hooking them up, so make sure it is still seated in the bottle after removing. All in all, i recomend these for anyone who spends a lot on disposable tanks and has a shed full like i did. The bottles do come with plastic caps

Finally, a refillable 1 lb tank that is affordable; not cheap, but worth it. I've been filling 1 ln tanks for years with no issues, but this system seems much safer and easier to use.
