I had bought this product around 2 years ago but i had forgotten the password, so i decided to contact customer service and they were more than helpful. They gave me a full updated replacement and refund for the old device. The product itself is just amazing, its great for everyday use, great battery life and amazing quality. 100% worth it and would for sure buy again, the product is amazing and on top of that, customer service is great. Super helpful and super quick replies. Amazing product, Amazing service. 10/10 would recommend!

Luoran MP3 Player for Kids with Parental Controls, Light Blue (ASIN : B0DSF9NQ6B) I am beyond annoyed with this player. Supposedly, the Amazon Music app is from January, 2025, but it's already out of date, so I don't get most of the functionality to play music. I have to update the APK or something, somehow, with absolutely no instructions. I think I finally figure out where to get the update APK, put it on the player, hunt around to find out how to install it, and it just tells me the app failed to install. I give up. I'm getting about 20% of the functions I wanted, so I'm giving it 20% of the stars. You shouldn't need a degree in computer science to deal with this - and by the way, I do have a B.S. in computer science, so I guess I need a Master's. Also, for some reason, it cannot find our main WiFi network. This is annoying. We have a second one, for our smart house stuff, which it does work on. I took it to a local free wifi spot, and it recognized 4 networks in the area, and I was able to connect to one. I don't know what the deal is with our main one. Too many annoyances with this thing.

Absolutely awesome little device. If you know your way around android and like tinkering, this thing is amazing for adults. Software It runs android, but it is a very base and specific build with no playstore. Luckily, all of the apps that come preloaded are removable or able to be disabled. Because the android build is so barebones, this thing runs just fine. Not fast, but far from glitchy or laggy. Also, it is able to side-load android APK's so tinkering with that is a ton of fun, and most apps I have tried have worked just fine once I found a reliable source for them (I have tried 0 social media apps). Over the moon with this OS. It is just smart enough and up to date enough to be an absolute killer of a compact device if you really spend the time to reconfigure it. VLC, Musicolet, emulators, Chrome, Firefox, and most simple games work without a hitch. So if you pick this up, remove and disable the stock browser and music apps and keyboard and sideload trusted apps, install Nova Launcher and It becomes a phenomenal little media player that is capable of running android apps, playing HD movies, and playing HiFi FLAC files. Build Again, build quality is way way higher than expected. I thought it had a plastic build after looking at the images but this thing is solid aluminum. Fantastic feel in the hand. The USB C and headphone jack both being on the bottom is also nice, and they are very solid connectors. The built in speaker also is an over-achiever. It is loud enough to actually here in a bussling room with other noises and fans, I expected it to be extremely quiet and tinny. Its no samsung speaker, but its very decent (the manufacturer even has a built in "boost" function to make sure the speaker sounds full). The device is very solid and built flush. A few other details I appreciate are that the SD card actually sits flush with the device when inserted, it does not stick out at all. The volume and lock buttons are extremely tactile and easy to differentiate by feel. THE DISPLAY. EXCELLENT little IPS display with very vibrant colors and sharp picture. Decent brightness also. Volume output from the 3.5mm headphone jack will vary by app, but VLC and Musicolet sound very good after configuring preamps and setting equalizers, with an acceptable max volume although it could be a touch louder. The best part, is there are 0 emblems or logo's on the device. That really helps this little thing feel high quality. INCLUDED IN THE BOX First of all the box is very nice with a design that reminds me of the old Zune days. Very professional and colorful. They include a pair of earbuds (1 step above ewaste), a USB C cable, and a translucent smoke clear case. The case is also made very well and fits the device perfectly. The dark translucent color makes the bright blue-green change to a darker nicer green-blue. The color without the case is great and reminds me of the old sony ericsson walkman blue. OVERALL This thing is a great buy. Its nicer and more capable than it has any right being lol. for a kid it would be awesome for a controlled smart environment where you the parent can sideload approved apps and the child will have no way of downloading anything themselves. It also has no camera and no background communications services, so that means no worry about texting or picture messaging. For an adult it can be a very powerful little media player capable of playing local HiFi media, streaming media via a home theater with something like jellyfin or plex, providing retro gaming entertainment via emulators, and even searching the web.

This product is HORRIBLE! I bought it and it worked for a while and then it started shutting off even on full charge and the parental controls didn't work the password for it wouldn't work and I don't recommend it. It was a useful product until it started doing that but I still don't recommend you buy it. For that much money to not work it is a bad product. Don't buy this product!
