I've had this for a few weeks now and have had substantial opportunities to mess with this gimbal. I've used a lot of gimbals and this is fairly standard until you add some of the extra bells and whistles. One of the best are being able to control the gimbal with my phone while my coworker tries to stabilize. The movements aren't too jerky and mesh well when someone else is holding the gimbal. One thing I have noticed is it took quite some time to calibrate the Moza Aircross 2. The first few times I used it, the motor would vibrate pretty intensely. I assumed it was because I didn't stabilize it properly beforehand because it hasn't happened in a while. The battery also feels a little loose in there, but it hasn't affected the battery life at all, which is substantial! It's been solid for 6-8 hours with continued use. I'm excited to keep using this for my side gigs coming up. It's a great addition for my panasonic s5. Which, I will say it takes a few connections of the cable to get the gimbal and camera to play nice, but it always ends up working.

I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this gimbal. It feels sturdy without being too heavy and is small enough to fit in my backpack if needed. I have been testing it out with my BMPCC4k and have been able to balance it really well, I want to note I am using a smaller prime (16mm Mieke). My shots have been smooth and the included follow focus has been a lifesaver! I definitely recommend getting the Pro version with the follow focus, it is extremely useful. The locks on the arms make it easier to balance correctly and the motor seems to have more than enough power. All in all there is a lot to love about this gimbal and I plan on getting a lot of use out of it.

I just got the new AirCross 2 Pro for my Canon M50 Mark II. What an amazing device, the design is super elegant. The case it comes with is super neat and organized. I love the Manual focus adapter. So far so good – works amazing 😊 The amazing thing they added this time is the detachable battery – it is super convenient to charge it like that. For this price and what it does I highly recommend it.

Within five minutes of receiving the Moza Aircross 2, I found myself moving the camera effortlessly though my apartment with total fingertip control over the five dimensions of a shot as though I were being assisted by an entire professional camera crew. Of course, one will still have to light and set-dress a scene, but if capturing smooth, pinpoint accurate and shake-free video footage while hand-holding your camera on the move through that scene is what you desire, this one piece of equipment will enable you to do just that. Pan, tilt, roll, zoom, focus and time are all totally yours to command. Simply balance the camera in each of three dimensions, ( it couldn’t be simpler! ), and you are off! The camera snaps to attention, and you are in control. I am a lifelong filmmaker and have worked in the industry for decades, both working for others and producing and directing my own feature films. I love the craft, but once I’ve got my scene in my head and down on the page, it’s honestly an enormous hassle to actually get it on film. It’s almost never exactly what you envisioned in your mind, and even if you do achieve perfection, you have to lug and set up literally tons of heavy and elaborate equipment and employ an entire crew of skilled professionals to deliver the shot you created in your mind’s eye. As a result, it has been years since I felt like overcoming that obstacle and have not made anything but short films or videos for a long time. A friend asked me to shoot a music video for their band and I quickly came up with an idea, but it was going to involve a lot of motion: Dolly and zoom shots, Steadicam. Crane shots and shots involving precise motion control heads and the expertise to use all those techniques. I doubted the budget was available for my vision, and I began to dumb it down, thinking I would just buy a gimbal and make the best of it. When in saw what was possible with themAircross 2 and the (free!) Moza app, not only would I be able to achieve my original vision, it pushed me toward better shots that I was able to achieve all by myself!! Using the app, there are so many ways to control the camera on the fly as well as programmable and repeatable precise motion. It can even lock on to and follow a chosen subject automatically! The Moza is literally like packing the expertise of an industry into a single, lightweight carrying case. You still have to have the vision, but the Moza will allow you to achieve it! This one tool makes enormous production value available at a very low cost. Don’t hesitate to buy it. I am am old and tired filmmaker, but this has inspired me to make a feature film I’ve had in my head for a long time. Now I believe I can create this, and even more films because for me, the barriers of all the equipment and crew are gone!!

The media could not be loaded. I use on Canon 5D Mark IV & Sony A7IIs, this is my 2nd DSLR and Mirrorless Camera Gimbal, 1st time use IFocus-M you will need to get use to setup your camera with this gimbal at the 1st time, I like how the way app can take full control, like shooting motion control and timelapse, very smaller and light weight gimbal, I love the cool looking LED light on the focus wheel and you can adjust dim it from 0 - 100% bright. the L-bracket also allows you shoot Horizontal or vertical , i think MOZA Aircross 2 is too many function for video shooting, i still leaning how to shooting with gimbal and i highly recommend this gimbal because is very light weight and reasonable price.
