Great quality - the hand grip is pretty comfortable but I mostly use it attached to a base, and it works great for that.

    • Works, but could be better
Stablizes, but the rubber washer that cushions the device fell off. I will probably McGuyver something there. It is quite hefty which may help in stabilization, but I believe now that the length is too long. The stabilization comes from supporting the bottom of the camera with the top part of your fist. The camera is not stable if you just hold it in the middle of the grip. All that said, it does help reduce camera shake for video to a minimum vs. no grip. Actually, if I were to design one, I would make it more of a ball shape of 3 inches in length to be more ergonomic and to discourage gripping too far from the camera. ... show more

This makes a big difference in the lack of jerking motion my videos have when I'm filming and walking. For the price I'm very happy I bought it. It's very well made also.

Might be good for a guy with strong arms, but this weighs to much for my old arms to hold up for extended periods of time for shooting video. Also there is not enough room for my clamp on remote control.
