I'm having a problem with squirrels digging in the dirt of my potted deck plants so I decided to give this product a try. Our deck is 36 feet wide by 12 feet deep. It has a canvas awning coving it at all times. There are hanging plants as well as small and large potted plants. We have two of these ultra sonic devices. We have it set on the highest setting where it alternates between two frequencies. We can't hear it nor can our dog. However, it's at a frequency that keeps squirrels away. We have it placed about 50 inches up from the floor as suggested in the directions. One unit is facing one direction and the others in the opposite direction. This is important as the frequency speaker seems to be unidirectional as it kept squirrels away only in the direction of the speaker which is why we purchased a second unit. There is also a strobe light feature that you can turn on and off. When it gets dark the strobe will turn on as an added detergent. So far we haven't had to use that feature. The only sound humans can hear is a soft ticking sound which tells you the unit is on. This unit cannot get wet. It does need to be plugged in and the cord is about two feet long. The directions say it will keep various critters away. This review is only about keeping squirrels away, and it does!

I’ve been having a problem with rat in my attic, It is a very annoying issue. They make a noise every single night, But we don’t want the poison rat, because I don’t want them dead in my attic. This take care my issue, after I put it in my attic , we don’t hear any more noice . Hope I know this product earlier.

I started to find rodent droppings outside. Don't want to use poison as it is bad for predators that eat those rodents. I wasn't sure about this product, but it seemed to work well. Have used it for a few weeks now. Haven't seen any rodent droppins lately.
