I used this rack on my Chevy Express work van to mount solar panels. The rack it pretty solid once installed, but instructions were a bit lacking. There's a vertical bolt that really needs to be installed before the other two horizontal ones on each gutter bracket.

They only thing to know is if driving through the rain the pipes get water in them and then a little rust comes out on the roof. Mine roof is a little stained, a Mr. Clean magic eraser can get it off tho. For the company: if you could spray the inside or add seals and just charge a little more. They do work great. ... show more

Installed on 2020 express van. The first brackets and rail took quite awhile to install. Quite a bit of adjustment to get right. The next two went fairly quick. The rack seems very sturdy with very little wind noise. Hoping the powder coating holds up. Overall for the price it seems good.

The install wasn't as easy as I expected but still pretty easy! I usually need my 10' step ladder, 24' extension ladder and little giant foldable ladder. This works perfectly to hold all three.

Fits as expected on my Ford, installation takes about 1 hr but it's easy. The metal is lightweight with a beautiful finish color, and stable.

    • Very sturdy.
I found this easy to install. Once it’s in place it feels very stable and solidly built. I’ve had no problems with shifting or noise. It’s very secure and does exactly what it’s supposed to.
