  • Great information
This book is easy to follow and I was able to learn some stuff I didn't know before. Then again I'm not a mountain bike expert! I recommend it if you are getting into mountain biking or want to learn more about how it all works. The illustrations are very helpful too.

  • Nice introduction
Succinct and updated for 2023 so the information is relevant and contemporary. Good read if you’re just starting and provides some good considerations before investing in a bike. Highly recommend if you’re just looking to get into biking.

  • See Spot ride. Ride, Spot, ride.
I gave this five stars, because for its purpose it is actually well done. It is basic, but quite comprehensive at that level. This would be a great book for people new to the sport, and I would expect thee information included to substantially improve their enjoyment of the sport. I'd highly recommend this for beginner riders or those new to mountain bike adjustment and maintenance. Unfortunately, I personally am an intermediate skill level rider who is highly proficient as a bike mechanic who wants to improve their riding skills. I therefore need a different book. ... show more
