I have been eyeing this training journal for a few years now, and with the current level of free time I have I decided to buy it! It has definitely lived up to the hype - very simple to use and lots of space to be creative while analyzing your personal data. I also really appreciate the prompts throughout the journal, because it is helping me focus my training in what is currently a very unfocused and uncertain time. The core, yoga, and workout ideas have been super helpful too, now that I have time to expand my pre and post workout routines. I own 4 or 5 of these running journals. I enjoy them to journal how well the run went, my goals, etc. i do like how the dates are left blank so if you need to miss a few days of training due to illness or injury— you don’t waste pages. you can pick up where you left off. This is the third one of theses journals I’ve purchased and I absolutely love them! I got my first one when I was training for my first full marathon and it was a god send. From first touch this journal is a very nice journal. The cover is beautiful leather. The pages are laid out well. Not just training pages but tips and short motivational assignments. I feel this journal is more for training for a specific event rather than daily runs.

  • "Stinky" journal!

I used the red "version" of this journal some years ago and really liked it, so I was excited to get my new one. It was sent to me shrink-wrapped. Sadly, it had apparently been in the wrap so long that it got mildew! I have tried to get the smell out, but so far it's way too stinky to use. It even makes anything it touches stinky!! Disappointing and not worth the hassle to return. Sigh... ... show more
