Been playing pool, in most of it's forms, since I was 12. Played it most of my adult life when ever I could, but then got away from it as adult life and situations took up most of my time. Now, at 67, I find the desire to play is still there, but the skills have become rusty. Always striving to be best I can be, I looked for something to sharpen the skills I had. I've read through mounds of different books, all having what they call the best approach to get that. Some are better than others. Imler seems to have a different approach, which seems to ring true. This is a straightforward set of instructions that can be followed by any reasonably skilled player. Although the writing style is unpolished, there are a few grammatical errors, and the author could benefit from an editorial proofreading of his manuscript, it is easy for a moderately knowledgeable player to discern the meaning of the text.
