I changed what I was going to do with this by changing around the desk space by the time I got this so I will be saving it for my next project where I need a monitor off to the side. It holds up to a 32 inch monitor with up to almost 20 lbs and a VESA square bolt hole pattern on the back of the monitor. Works great to have a monitor like that to the side of the work area and not on or over the work area. Nice and strong holding up to 20 lbs this can hold just about any current monitor that is new to the shelf. Keep in mind some commercial monitors may weigh more because of the quality but as long as it has a VESA square bolt hole pattern on the monitor and weighs under 20 lbs this will work just fine.

Heavy duty and easy to assemble. If you are clamping it to some type of table, make sure it's at least 3/4" thick or more. Any thinner and the table will flex from the weight. I would buy this again

Getting this setup was quick and easy. Everything needed comes in the box. The clamp section surprised me a bit. Unlike most of these arms, it does not have a knob or lever to tighten the clamp onto the desk. Instead it uses the included tool to tighten it from inside the base, so it let's the clamp be extremely low profile. So it's easy to setup near a wall without pulling the desk out much. This has potential negatives in that it doesn't let you adjust the clamps location without detaching the entire arm from the base, but I think the benefits outweigh this. The second convenience is the plate that attaches to the monitor. It is unfortunately a bit less heavy duty than other monitor mounts I've had, but what it does right is the way it connects back to the arm. The connection point is far out enough to still be able to slide easily onto the arm with a monitor that has inset Vesa mounting points. On other arms I'd need to attach the plate to he arm before my monitor because the inset holes cause the part that slides onto the arm to be blocked. Additionally, instead of a screw to lock it in place it has a convenient switch. In terms of durability and ease of use, the arm feels nice and sturdy without being heavy and industrial like other arms. It has a good look to it that feels natural in a home office. I wouldn't use this for the biggest, heaviest monitors, but for small/medium monitors it is great. Also, once I set it up for the weight of my monitor it was easy to adjust the height and tilt. For large height adjustments it might be a little inconvenient since the connecting arm needs to be loosened and lowered on the vertical bar, but after initial setup needing to do this should be rare. Overall it's a great monitor arm for most monitors and has a couple convenient features that make it stand out from others, at least for my use case. So I'd have no issues recommending it.

The engineering design to mount the bracket above the table, without having to crawl underneath, is well worth the cost of this mount. It is sturdy, well designed, easy to install and adjust. The instructional video was as easy as it could be. This is a wonderful product!

I have a number of different monitor stands and I've started to like the ones like these that start with a vertical pole and then adjust from there for things like work areas. This one lends well to placer where you're likely to have it on a table you'll often be standing at. In my case it's perfect to attach to a laser cutter bench. You I like being able to position it exactly where I want but also easily get it out of the way. Assembly was very easy and it's made well. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't do well with smaller monitors. I have a 10 inch touch screen on it and I had to add a little weight beyond the cables to get it to stay in place. You can adjust the counter-balance down but it just barely doesn't adjust far enough down for this size. In the other direction though you can easily hold the larger sizes. It's a stand that will last a long time and I'd recommend it.
