Purchased this to get some desk space back. But when it arrived it appeared to be a previous return with missing screws and parts. I have a replacement on the way so when that gets here I will update the review. Edit: Replacement arrived promptly. I got it assembled with no issues. Over all it is a decent monitor mount for the money, a little wobbly on the rotational aspect and there is no adjustment screw there to set your monitor once you have it rotated level, so that’s a little annoying. Otherwise the clamp mounted to the desk nice and tight and I don’t feel like it would easily slip off. The gas shock holding the monitor up is nice and tight with plenty of adjustment for the weight of my monitor. So far I am happy with it but time will tell with the durability over the life of the mount.

great mount. i know it says its rated for 17lbs. i just found that out today when i mounted a heavy 34" oled to it. the arm is extended all the way out. after i cranked the strength knob all the way up the monitor is holding wonderfully. only issue is that the monitor tilted forward a bit so i tightened that mounting point and all is well now. mount was purchased a year ago and had a small 24" monitor on it prior. all and all great mount. i will be buying a beefier one though as a $800 isnt worth cheaping out over.

Note: I used two of these for nearly 3 years before writing this review. This is a very good product, with a FEW things that are sometimes misunderstood: TENSION: if your monitor is HEAVY, you need to loosen the tension (counter clockwise). RECESSED (sunk-in) vesa mounts: the mount itself slides on. If your monitor has a flat back, you won't have any issues. If the back of your monitor is recessed (sunken-in) and the bottom is obstructed, you may have trouble getting a good angle to slide the monitor onto the mount. TILT-SAGGING: if your monitor is tilting down, tighten both the right and left bolts where the monitor attaches. My review: Overall I love these mounts. I too misunderstood the lefty/righty tension thing. It feels backwards. But it works. I have a 6.9kg 32 inch mount (15 lbs) and by LOOSENING the tension on the arm, it springs upwards with enough force to hold this heavier monitor in place. Now I can move it wherever I need. The clamps to the desk are VERY sturdy, no issues. The arms have a wide range of motion laterally. They also can go lower than the base (if your desk isn't in the way), but they do not go very high. Overall these are great and I would recommend them. I've had them for 3 years with zero issues.

I love this monitor now. Could hold the TV also I guess, but I'm using it for my computer monitor at work. Has a good quality design and you can adjust the height wherever you need the monitor. Arm length allows for even more convenience. Box came with all screws and hardware needed for installation and adjustment. I will be buying another for my second monitor.
