He loves a challenge and this kit is all of that. But this kit is just out of his reach for doing all by himself. He has built a lot of it but he has needed some help along the way. This would have been a project that he could have done by himself at age 11 or possibly at age 10. Ill start by saying this is really cool..as a car guy my husband and son loves it..and the detail in the motor is so cool But the directions definitely could use some work..some bags had no direction and others seemed to be mixed between bags But over all for the price it didnt take much for my 11 yr old to be able to help and put some together and the details it has is great! ... show more
