This is actually the second time I purchased this phone as an upgrade. I have small hands so the small screen in front is great. You can do everything on the small screen that you can on the full screen. It is fully functional as a phone when closed. All other clamshells come with many restrictions when using the phone closed. It also has a great camera. I bought this one on Amazon because I have the assurion complete protection plan and the phone is covered under that plan. Last model razr I had lasted over three years before I had any problems with the screen. That being said, I actually expected to run into problems when I purchased it. I mean, it literally folds in half. Come on. But three years?! Most people I know who have [other brand] folding phones had issues within 9 months. ... show more

This is the ugliest object I have ever had the misfortune of laying eyes on. It might be the ugliest object in the history of the world. It is not peach. It is not orange. It is not traffic cone. It is radioactive, poison, neon stroke orange. It tastes sour to look at. I do not want to touch it. I do not want to carry it, because I do not want to be visible from sapce. I eoulf try a cover but I don't actually think it would be possible to conceal this color. Maybe if you entombed it in lead like Maria Sklodowska-Curie. I am so affronted that this exists and they tried to charge me for it that I'm just going to go buy a galaxy. ... show more

I had an earlier generation of the flip phone, but from Samsung. I liked it so much i wanted a new one for the larger external screen, and a feature that reviews mistakenly said it had (will mention later). However the phone seemed like a step back in most important ways, though it seems like issues that might just be with the Razr. First and most important, the phone is way less powerful. Reviews had it more powerful than the previous generations but my experience is substantially different. When you open and unlock your phone it takes several seconds to show the screen. It also seems more sluggish in general. The Samsung has a screen that clicks into multiple fixed angles, instead of allowing any angle. I didn't think it would be very noticable but it is and is just a little annoying. Not a deal breaker though. What is a large deal breaker is that you will find you are unlocking the phone often when you pick it up, as the power button unlocks when it detects your finger print without requiring a button press. This is mostly unavailable as hard as you try. This will have you accidentally press on apps, turning on, off, or skipping music, ometimes i will even change the entire clam shell theme to a random theme because of this accidental unlocking. I've even accidentally text people. That necessitates the less than 3 stars even regardless of the other issues. The custom apps for this phone are just a little off. I don't care for them. Which was ironically one of the things that made me want to try the phone out. I was hoping for different, but just as good. As an aside and the main reason I bought the phone was that i had read it had HDMI support. It does not. That is a deal breaker for any phone I buy going forward. It's just awesome being able to plug your phone into a screen whereever you are, such as when traveling, and watch streaming videos. Again not supported. All in all, I should have stuck with Samsung, with all it's own annoyances. ... show more

This is a cool phone, is folds and it flexs in your pocket if you place it the right way. Live the thumbprint feature and the quickness in touch reaction. However I was not thrilled about learning the new way to maneuver around the Motorola software. I reverted back to my old phone after a bit. So, bottom line ... Not a fan. ... show more
