  • ✨💻 GOOD SCREEN PROTECTOR. WOULD RECOMMEND 💻✨
Model: Macbook Pro 13 inch
This product came on time and in good condition. Nothing was bent or torn. This comes with 3 screen protectors, a card (that I assume you would use like a credit card or something hard to push on the screen protector when applying it on), and a cloth wipe. Originally, I wasn't going to buy a screen protector for my MacBook since I didn't used one for my previous HP laptop. But I figured I didn't want to risk scratching the screen of my expensive laptop, I decided I'll give this a try and I think it's pretty good so far. At first I was looking for a tempered glass screen protector, but those are rather expensive for the quantity that it comes in. This was the next best thing. I knew I didn't want a matte screen protector, since I have one on my iPad and I feel like it diminishes the screen quality a little bit. Again, THIS IS NOT TEMPERED GLASS, so DO NOT get this if you are looking for a tempered glass screen protector - this is a flexible, glossy screen protector. 💻 MY LAPTOP: 13" MacBook Air M1 (2020) ⭐️ HOW TO APPLY SCREEN PROTECTOR ⭐️ 1. Put your screen to sleep and on do not disturb, or turn off the laptop completely. 2. Wipe your screen with an alcohol wipe. Use a piece of tape to get rid of any small piece of dust still left. 3. Align the screen protector on the screen to the best of your ability, DO NOT PEEL OFF ANYTHING YET. Make sure you laid the screen protector down correctly - look at the sticker tabs on the screen protector to make sure. 4. Tear off a piece of tape and put the tape half on the left (should be the side that also has the sticker tabs on the screen protector) edge of the screen and half on the screen protector. Tear off another piece of tape and put another one next to the first piece of tape, leave some room in between. It should look like you can lift the screen protector up and it would still be attached to the screen via the pieces of tapes. 5. Start slowly peeling the sticker tab labeled '1' (this should be on the underside of the screen protector, if you had laid the screen protector on the screen surface correctly in step 3). As you peel, begin sticking the screen protector onto the screen, scraping out air bubbles with either your hand or the card that came in the package. 6. Continue peeling until the whole screen protector has been stuck onto the screen. 7. You can now peel the sticker tab '2' and this should take off the pieces of tape as well. And that's it. Congrats, you just applied your screen protector on successfully!! 🤩 I did not have any trouble applying the screen protector using the steps above. **NOTE: The dust on the screen in the photos are on the outside, not the inside.** However, if you do have trouble there are 2 more in the package. After using the product for a few days, I don't think the screen quality has diminished or anything. I feel a little more at ease with the screen protector on my MacBook, though, which is good. I can still close my laptop properly as well. Again, this is a GLOSSY screen protector so it will NOT give you the anti-glare effect. Overall, I recommend this product. The price is decent for the amount you get, and the quality is not bad either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... show more

  • Looks like it's not there!
Model: Macbook Pro 13 inch
I'm writing this review just after installing on my macbook pro. I was skeptical, as always with a cheaper "off brand" screen protector. I figured it's $10 bucks, so can't go wrong. The install was sketch on a large screen. I have done multiple phones of mine in the past, but never did anything this large with 0 room for error. The install is easy to mess up, but not due to the product being faulty. The screen Realestate is just a lot to deal with, so you have to do your best to line it up perfectly. The protector is like 99.8% the same size of the screen, which is amazing, but leaves little room for error. I followed the video they have on their website on youtube and: 1. peeled #1 tab layer about 30% 2. quickly lined up the top left corner ( I used the rubber between the actual screen & the aluminum frame, "it's black".) 3. let the screen adhere it self WITHOUT PRESSING OR TOUCHING THE SCREEN WHILE PEELING THE #1 layer off as it adhered. 4. made sure the camera hole lined up before going past the 50 % mark. 5. I peeled the #1 off completely and let the protector adhere. 6. used the provided cardboard squeegee and took the very few bubbles I had out (maybe 4). 7. DONE, LOOKS OEM, SUPER STOKED. ONE OF THE CHEAPEST, BEST PROTECTORS I HAVE EVER SEEN. For anyone that has had an issue, it's probably user error or a faulty protector/bad batch. I'm sure if you call them they will hook it up no problem. 100% thanks peace! ... show more

  • The Bubbles Will Settle - Take Your Time!
Model: MacBook Pro 14 inch
I installed this screen protector with decent accuracy, I did have a lot of bubbles and it really bothered me but I remembered my wife's MacBook was in a similar state and it "healed" over time. With that being said I decided to leave it on there and its been about a day/day and a half and all the bubbles have settled just fine with no issues. I think the heat coming from the screen push the air bubbles out? Take your time installing it to line it up as best you can, air bubbles will eventually settle. If you do get dust under the protector those will not go away though. Since the packaging only comes with a cleaning cloth, use some light weight tape (ex: scotch tape) to gently lift off any dust on the screen before applying. The glare on this is pretty bad, for my personal use I only use my Mac indoors or docked with a monitor so it does not bother me. However, If you're in a bright lit office or outside on a sunny day it may be hard to see the screen. The self healing film it's made of is very nice and high quality. I ultimately give this screen protector 5 stars and would buy again for my next MacBooks in the future! ... show more

  • Good, But Slightly Disappointed
Model: MacBook Pro 14 inch
Not Matte... I was expecting a matte screen protector like I have at least on my phone but this isn't it. The installation was a doozy mainly because the Macs themselves get dirty so fast. But it does fit the screen very well and it would be 5 stars if it truly was matte, although I would technically say that the glare was reduced but hard to tell for right now after having it for a day. On the side note, good protector with good quality. ... show more

  • Worked for me.
Model: MacBook Pro 14 inch
It worked, I don't have any major complaints about it. I didn't tape or anything I actually just winged it when putting it one by aligning it to the top two corners and came out well. I definitely used the credit card looking cardboard to iron bubbles out and I can say im pleased. For my eyes... image quality did not degrade. Basically this is exactly what I was looking for to protect the screen from keyboard scratches. ... show more

  • Amazing IF you can get it installed
Model: MacBook Pro 16 inch
These are amazing if you can get ONE installed without messing up. Out of three, I only got one installed fine. The first one went horrible, I had a lint, a few small bubbles, and the tools that came with it did not help at all: I thought to myself, "They gave me three for a reason so I might as well retry with a 2nd one!" The 2nd installation went perfect: it was a miracle! I had literally no lint, no bubbles, and the alignment was literally perfect - it didn't even look like I had a screen protector on. I was actually shocked as I thought I had messed up as I had applied it. This was amazing while it lasted and made me love my M1 even more lol. Unfortunately, I had noticed about 6 days in I had a bleeding pixel on the upper right hand corner of my screen, and Apple said they would cover it under warranty. The Genius Bar employee asked me to remove my perfect screen protector, but mentioned he hated to see me peel off the screen protector as he understood how hard it must've been to install it perfectly. After I got my M1 back, I tried installing the last screen protector. This was the worst out of the three: I had several lint as I tried carefully applying the screen protector but kept repositioning it: this was beyond saving and I ended up throwing it away. If you can somehow get the perfect installation - it's magical. You do not care what's on your screen because you know your screen is shielded. Anyways, moral of the story: it's 2022 and we still haven't figured out an easy way to install screen protectors for laptops. I'm hesitant to buy ANY screen protector for my laptop knowing this. Hopefully, in the near future, we can get an easier installation product for laptops like the phones have these days. ... show more

  • Installed perfectly, it's invisible but you are happy to know it's there
Model: Macbook Pro 13 inch
If you are able to install it properly, it's absolutely invisible. No photos can do justice to any installation that was done perfectly. It's not that hard if you are clear what you are doing and follow instructions. PRO TIP: (this only works if you understand and follow each and every word, before you start with a clear head and calm mind. I hope the long text helps people.) 1) Fix the position -- Position the screen protector on the screen, then use a long piece of clear sticky tape to hold it in position by the top edge of the screen. Don't peel off any of the film layer on the protector yet - we will do that later. (The sticky tape should cover the entire top edge of the screen protector and also stick onto the the top ledge of the screen even to the back of the screen, so that you can flip the screen protector up, over and behind the screen.) The idea is so that you can use the sticky tape as a hinge to flip the screen protector back and forth without losing the position. 2) Clean the screen -- Flip the screen protector to the back of the screen (with the sticky tape and films still on). Then angle the screen so that it forms an angle less than 90degrees with your keyboard. (About 70-80 degrees open.) This means the screen faces DOWNWARDS. This is to prevent dust from settling down on it. Clean the screen using the provided cloth (with the screen still facing down.) Make sure to examine your work using a bright light and check that the screen's clear of all oil and dust. 3) Next we peel the inner film from screen protector -- Maintaining the downward angle of the screen, flip the screen protect to front of the screen but don't let it touch the screen yet. It should be dangling by the top edge away from the screen because the screen is facing down. Carefully peel the inner film from the screen protector also without touching the screen. There should now be no dust on the screen nor the inner side of the screen protector. 4) Stick the screen protector onto the screen -- Press the top edge of the screen protector (starting near the hole for the camera) onto the screen. The rest of the screen protector should follow and start settling all the way down to the lower edge. You can help move it along by gentling tapping on the screen protector but only tap on the parts that already stuck. 5) Remove any bubbles -- Now you can open the screen fully and examine your work. Usually there won't need, but in case bubbles form, squeeze them out. 6) Remove the clear sticky tape -- Carefully remove the long piece of sticky tape on the top edge without lifting the screen protector or the outer film. 7) Remove dust -- For the couple of specks of dust trapped beneath the protector, use a new piece of sticky tape to lift the screen protector from the edge closest to the dust, and use another piece of tape to collect the dust particle from the inner side of THE SCREEN PROTECTOR (meaning the sticky side of the tape sticks onto the INNER side of the protector to remove the dust). Each time you lower the screen protector, let it seal itself back and squeeze any bubbles out before you start with the next speck of dust. 8) Remove the outer film -- carefully peel the outer film without lifting the screen protector. 9) Profit -- You now have a dust and bubble free screen protector that's installed with perfect alignment on your screen. If you fail to do this properly the first time, learn from your mistakes. Also use the failed screen protector as dust remover (if any). So, position and tape your 2nd screen protector before you peel off the first (failed) one. Maximum number of screen protectors used: 2. ... show more

  • Thin, clear PET protector that keeps the display looking stock
Model: MacBook Pro 14 inch
I was skeptical about putting a screen protector on a MacBook because of how tight Apple’s tolerances are, but this has been a great choice. It is PET (not glass), so it is very thin and does not feel like it changes how the lid closes. I use my MacBook daily for school and carry it in a backpack often, so my main goals were scratch protection and easier cleaning. Clarity is excellent. It is clear enough that I quickly forgot it was even installed, and it does not dull the mini-LED colors the way many matte protectors do. Cleaning is also noticeably easier. Fingerprints that used to smear around the bare display wipe off much more cleanly with this protector. The biggest “make or break” factor is installation. If you rush it, you will trap lint and it will be an eyesore every time the screen is on. I spent about 10 minutes making sure the screen was dust-free before applying it, and the result looks nearly invisible. Bubbles are not a big deal as long as the screen is lint-free. Most of mine squeegeed out easily, and a couple small ones disappeared by the next day. One note: if your display already has a tiny chip or defect, a screen protector can sometimes make that spot more noticeable because it can form a small bubble around the damaged area or cause a slight rainbowing effect on bright/white backgrounds. That is not really the protector’s fault, but it is worth knowing. Overall, this is a great option if you want scratch protection and easier cleaning while keeping the screen looking essentially stock. ... show more
