  • Not the greatest
A bit wobbly with YZ85 on it. I wouldn't put a bigger bike on it for fear it would fall over.

Works great, even for a young kid 8-10

  • Lifts a variety of bikes well
Using this to lift a heavy dual purpose (read - tall) bike and low street bike. Both lift with ease. For the dual purpose, the rear weight of the bike, and center of balance point, causes it to lean back, so I weight the front wheel when I have to pull the rear wheel, to get it off the ground. This is physics, not a problem with the product. ... show more

  • Solid "Meh" for a MX Stand.
So close... I want to like it, but it just misses the mark for my bike. 2018 Husqvarna FX450. After unscrewing the adjustment most of the way up it will basically lift my bike. The problem is the balance. With the adjustment that high it's a little wobbly. Not bad though. The angle of the pad leaves the front tire on the ground. It's easy to tip the bike back to remove the front tire, but you have to figure out how to keep it tilted back. I might modify the stand to keep the bike level. It's a good base to modify. I'll probably keep it. The HF $49 one is probably more stable because it is a two post design, but I like that this has a smaller foot print. This one is more than likely a lot lighter too. ... show more

  • You may want something better
This didn't work for my dirt bike. The top screws in and out for height adjustment but the lever arm doesn't pump up, it i just moves up/down and raises the platform a few inches. So it didn't work to get my bike all the way off the ground. I raised the platform turning it out as far as I could and still fit the thing under my skid plate, and then move the handle to the down position and it didn't raise it enough to get both wheels off the ground. Might work better for lower street bikes. But it also wasn't stable at that height and no way I would be comfortable removing a wheel with the bike moving around so much. It was cheap, so it was worth trying. I bought a used out of box item and I can see why it was returned. It looked like they did exactly what I did, tried it once and returned it. To be fair, I see that a lot of them are made with this same design where the arm just lifts it a few inches. They must work under normal circumstances. Looking for a replacement I see some scissor type ones with a more stable platform but they are more expensive and have clamps on the sides to secure the footpegs. That's what I am going to try next. ... show more

  • Pay no attention to bad reviews.
This item worked far better than expected. I have 6 Belgian Malinois's, the run out the door to the carport like savages. While the bike was on the stand they ran into it several time while I was working on my bike. It never came close to falling over. I wrenched on it and tugged on it very hard and was more stable than I thought. I was impressed and glad I purchased it. Great deal for the money. It got some bad reviews, ignore them. Some people cannot be satisfied. ... show more

  • Talaria Sting and Sur-Ron
I'm not sure if I would use or trust this thing on anything bigger than a 125cc but it's the absolute tits for my Talaria Sting and would work a treat for a Sur-Ron. It's 3.2 bojillion times better than milk-crates. Pro-tip: Generously grease all pivots and areas with metal on metal sliding (like the main vertical center beam) ... show more

  • Okay product.
Sturdiness is questionable. As far as use of it it’s pretty easy to use. Stability I feel is not there. You have a dirt bike on it and once it goes up there’s nothing to help it stay upright and can easily tilt off the side.
