The parts seems a good as the OEM I replaced. The interface is exactly the same and installation is simple and straightforward. It was missing the seal for it so I didn’t use it, ended up having to buy one at the auto parts store instead. But it looked just like the one I got and the one I took off. Would have been fine if it had the seal.

    • It worked fine for 9 months then started to stick.
I figured I should go with the one that has a housing but the design is not as good as the original. It was improved to simplify making the parts/cost reduction. Be aware other thermostats that don't have a housing are not comparable with the housing that comes with this one. If you old housing is good keep it just in case you need it later like I did. ... show more

Remove the air box for easy access and it's easy to install. I parked with passenger side uphill and lost less than 1/2 gallon of antifreeze. Easy to install just do NOT overtighten. It's plastic and has a rubber o ring so it seals great!
