This is a great (quality) set for small jobs and small areas to loosen and tighten nuts and bolts. I had gotten one with the metric system which I like a lot, but I recently needed a standard American (Imperial) system when I realized the sockets were not fitting the nuts that needed tightening for a recent task. Since I liked the quality so much with the first one, I got this one as well. It’s so compact and the metal feels like quality metal. The ratchet sounds like it has a very fine toothed, precision gear. I would have liked one larger sized socket rather than the smallest size, which I’ll likely not use. But that’s just a personal preference. This is well worth the money. At the time of this purchase it was $77.00, U.S. There’s a lot in this little kit. I do simple tasks, and I don’t need large, heavy tools. I do like quality tools though, made with quality metals, and this set feels like that to me. It will be a great companion to my Leatherman tools. I was needing a ratchet fro some time now, and they don’t make one.. I definitely recommend this set if you like quality compact tools. When I’ve used it for a while and really feel it’s been given a good test, I will update this review. ... show more

I ordered this kit in 2021 after losing the smaller bit-set, mostly because it includes sockets. I've been a working residential and commercial electrician for the past 20-years, but mostly do trouble-shooting and service work these days. Having downsized from a 40 pocket 10" Klein tote to an 8", I needed a more compact bitset. This 39-piece Wera set has every bit and socket I need in a very compact package. The tiny ratchet ended up being extremely useful for installing ground bars in spaces that a full-length screwdriver can't fit into. The tiny screwdriver...not exactly useful for me as I already carry extended and mini multi-bit screwdrivers which have handles that are much easier to grip. The screwdriver retainment is pretty wimpy, and I may end up removing it completely. The rest of the bit holder is better, but will not hold up to much abuse and the plastic has quite a bit of flex. A steel or aluminum holder with latex or ABS holders for each bit would better match the quality of the rest of the tools in this set. The bitset and sockets are great for anyone in the trades, and the ratchet and screwdriver will be handy for anyone who wants this set to be able to do maintenance or service work in a pinch. The price is higher than I would like, but it will pay for itself as I save time every day by not making trips back to my work vehicle for certain items, and not having to unpack my entire tool roll for a single socket. ... show more

This is without doubt the most beautiful set of tools I’ve ever owned. In fact, it’s one of the most beautiful objects I’ve ever owned. It’s perfectly realized. The holder is masterfully designed. The bits and the sockets are well fastened and labeled but are easily accessible. The handle on the side is well positioned and secured. And the adapter and mini ratchet are ingeniously held in place at the top. The bit set is extensive and they and the sockets fit in any standard tool. Yes, the handle and ratchet are very small. But that means that they fill a void for most of us who have the standard-sized versions. But the set also gives us a lot of well made and labeled bits and sockets in a wonderful form factor. And it being Wera, the sockets are colorful and nice to look at. I can’t tell you the number of times that I take out this set just to admire it.
