I purchased the 70 x 12 x 14 ft net for my 14 yr old in middle school. I had other batting cage nets which tore and ended up with lots of holes and a poor, unsafe experience. This net is an extremely solid and strong with excellent roping to connect to the batting cage structures - vertical support poles and overhead bracing. The net weighs ~ 115 lbs, so you will need to PLAN WELL to ensure the batting cage supports are strong - metal or wood preferred. The first one I purchased 4 yrs ago was still in excellent condition. (outdoor/sun) We had a 500 yr ice storm over the winter and it brought down several huge trees. One which took out the corner of the barn and the entire batting cage. I’m happy to re-order and expect many years from the new cage. The media could not be loaded. So far the net is great. We bought the recommended cable kit that comes with everything needed to hang it up. Will update later on as its only been a week but it’s been through some strong winds already and everything has held up fine.
