This is a well built plow. Heavy duty thick metal. Good instructions to assembly, took about 30 minutes. Figuring out a place to attach the mounting plate took the longest. This was attached to a 2023 Polaris Ranger 570 SP. If your researching plows, I give this the thumbs up.

    • AWESOME Plow for a quad

I have a Honda rancher 420 2013. This thing works great, plowed 15" deep snow with no problem. I would definitely highly recommend purchasing this plow. Just a side note, I did have to purchase a winch for it from harbor freight for like 75 bucks and a winch mounting plate for my quad for like 45 bucks. The whole project took about 3 or 4 hours including the winch install. The quad mount for the plow was a little bit of a bitch because I had to modify my skidd plate a little by cutting and drilling a little here and there so the clamps would fit. But this thing definitely kicks ass plowing snow... and its heavy duty... If youre in the market for a plow for your quad then this is a perfect purchase. ... show more

so I just finished installing this on my Kawasaki 650 Prairie. Before I bought this I actually went to the MotoAlliance website and checked out their options for plows. They offered a custom kit for my Prairie which was basically a custom mounting bracket versus the generic one that comes in that kit. For that piece it was $80 more so I opted to buy the universal kit. If you're buying this site unseen , chances are unless you have one of the quads they mention for it not fitting, I think you should be OK. I put the mounting bracket on first which is actually last in the instructions - I figured if the mounting bracket didn't fit, what was the point of assembling everything else. I will attach a picture of the mounting bracket. The instructions say to remove the skid plate, I didn't need to on my mine. I had 1.5 round frame pipe exposed going into an "X" shape. Using the provided U-Bolts , putting the mounting bracket on was very easy. The rest of the installation is straight forward. Putting the wear bars on the blade was a bit of a pain. I'm not a fan of the nuts with nylon inserts and with no clearance for a ratchet, I had to put 7 of them on with a open end wrench.(14mm). The instructions are decent enough and all told with a couple of do overs because I decided I wanted to rust proof the nuts and bolts, it took me less than 2 hours. The plow is heavy - the front end definitely knows its there. My biggest fear was buying this thing and having it shipped to me (UPS man just looooves me) then it not fitting. Luckily the mounting bracket is designed to fit a bunch of different frames and they give you multiple U Bolts to give it a tight fit. I wouldn't see spending $500 or more for an ATV blade when this heavy thing is available for $329. I went with the 60" inch model so that when I angle it, its still as wide as the tires on my quad. ... show more

I bought this snowplow for my new Massimo Buck 450. I am extremely impressed with how substantial the plow is. It is definitely built to last. I was able to use the universal mount. What I discovered after removing the front skip plate is the front skid plate bolts fit the mounting plate perfectly. I was able to use the skid plate bolts to temporarily secure the mount plate. The mount wasn't wide enough to use the U bolts, so I drilled 4 3/8" holes through the frame and through-bolted the mount to the frame using 3/8 X 2 inch bolts secured with lock nuts. In the front, to allow clearance for the pusher lock-pins, I configured the bolts upwards with the nuts on the top of the frame. I had no trouble using a vice grip to hold the nuts above the frame while tightening them with my socket wrench below. I'm very happy with the results. I was initially a bit concerned about drilling holes in the frame, however the addition of the very thick metal mounting plate will add way more structure to the frame than the holes took away. As you can see in the photos, I utilized shackles and a pulley to enhance the lift from the winch. This provided a much better lift angle and allows the blade to lift higher. I made sure to confirm the load from each component could handle the weight and forces of the blade and winch. The weak point is the pulley at only 550 lbs. I like this setup because, if any force becomes too much, the pulley will fail first which is easily replaced. Finally got to use this snow plow the other day. I have this plow set-up on a CF MOTO C500. Pretty easy to set-up and mount to tha ATV. Very nice heavy plow. Workmanship seams very good. I don't have a lot of room in the garage, so I disconnect the plow. Very easy to hook and unhook the plow. I got this plow for half the price that dealership wanted for a different plow. Company is located in neighboring state, so I got the plow the next day. I would highly recommend this plow set-up. Two thumbs up. ... show more

I bought this plow because the shipping was several hundred less than most of the companies selling snow plows are charging to ship. I think no matter what they claim all these snow plows come from China. This plow is an universal plow meaning it will fit on many ATVs. Mine is a Suzuki King Quad 400 and it went on ok. The instructions are small and print is small so I mostly went by pics. The bad part about this plow is the Chinese pay no attention to detail. The U bolts that come in the kit are metric thread yet American thread nuts were included. One trip to Lowes to get metric nuts and lock washers. No lock washers were included but you would want them on the U bolts. When I went to install the plow to the plow base, the two enclosed pins that came in the kit were different sizes with only one being correct. See Pic attached. Another trip to Lowes to get the pin I needed. I had to remove burrs from the holes in the mount where the pins go thru the mount in order for the pins to fit. I have used the plow and it does what it is supposed to. But for the hardware issue which is a big deal to me since I am not convenient to a hardware store, I would have been pretty happy with the purchase. Also, I spent $6 on hardware I should not have to have spent. ... show more
