The MX2323 is of exceptional build quality and made in the USA. Yes it is pricey compared to stamped sheet metal filter wrenches but anyone who has used those knows if a filter is really stuck those just rotate and slip. The MX2323 is a precision machined fit for my application. I bought this for use on Mobile 1 M1-212A filters used on 2015-2017 Mustang 3.7L V6 Cyclone engines. I’m sure these filters are used in many other applications as well. Anyone who has changed a filter on a 2015-2017 V6 Mustang knows there is very little room for using a standard filter wrench on these cars and this wrench with either a 3/8 ratchet or box/open end wrench will make the filter removal a a lot easier. ... show more

    • It's worth the price.
It's kinda pricey but the quality is top notch and it's made in the U.S.A. and I even like the color. I expect it to last a lifetime. Way better than the plastic and cheapo metal wrenches. The 74mm fits Mobil M1-107A perfect. 100% recommend.

    • Stop going to the dealer for an oil change!
Bought this to use on a 2013 Mercedes GL450 to remove the oil filter cap. The fit is good. Wish the socket was a little deeper but overall it works good. Ordered several others that were supposed to fit my model but were to big and would have stripped the filter cap and returned them. I also bought the Mityvac MV7300 oil extractor. The oil change was so easy and clean I could of wore a white tuxedo and not get a spot on it. The whole process took maybe 20 min. So yes happy with my purchase and should have bought back in 2013. ... show more

Does this fit the 2021 Mazda3 MT like Amazon fitment says.... NO! You need the 64mm one for the current Mazda 3 OEM filter. Now to the good parts. This filter tool is incredibly made and packaged. It is almost a shame it has to come out and live in my tool box. It has the normal 3/8" hole in the center for the "I want you to come off" times and a 1" Hex head for the "You will come off" times. As seen in image it was no good for Mazda filter like Amazon said it was a fit for, but as a stroke of luck, it fits my wife's 2018 Volt that uses a 12060 filter. Return for bad sizing saved due to that, and I have measured the Mazda filter and have purchased the 64mm one for my car. ... show more
