I decided to purchased these cross bars after reading the prior reviews. I asked my local mechanic to install them since I did not want to make a mistake and ruin the install. He said everything he needed was present and it was easy to install. The only thing was it in involved a lot of up/down on the ladder. I have a Nissan Rogue with the panoramic sun roof and the cross bars don't interfere with the view. There is no difference in appearance between the side rails that came with the car and the cross bars. I haven't had to use the crossbars yet. I am hoping the that the rooftop bag we have will fit between the bars. It worked fine the first two times we tiuied it to the side rails but the last time it was very windy and it kept sliding back along the side rails. During the third stop to move it back up, we just decided to throw it in the back seat. Being able to attach it to the front/back crossbars would have prevented the sliding. ... show more

Got my set for my 2018 Nissan Rogue SL. Had them installed within a half an hour. This is a very sturdy set that is all aluminum, unlike some where the caps are made from ABS. Iv'e had the car up to 70 mph since installing them and have no noise from them. I would recommend using locktite on the threads of the bolts to keep them from coming loose at a bad time. Good quality, but instructions could be a bit better. The pieces are not symmetrical and you need to be careful assembling. If you attempt to complete assemble it and then put it on the car, it will not line up. Suggested is to assemble it loosely, mount the brackets and then tighten. I would also use some Loctite, so the screws do not back out. I used some clear silicone to seal some areas, but make sure you leave drain holes, or water may pool inside and corrode from within.     • NOT EASY TO INSTALL
14 out of the 16 holes lined up perfectly with bolts. But two did not. Took me an extra 45 min to grind the metal to make it line up. Over all it's built with high quality materials and it's built to outlast the car. It seems like they also sell a few of the same product as "used" for a cheaper price. Must be that other people are returning it because the mold that makes one of the legs is defective and they don't want to spend their afternoon getting a bunch of tools out to fix something before they can install a brand new product that should only take one Allen wrench to install from beginning to end ... show more

For the money...good. have not noticed any noise up to at 80 mph with windows open. Paint matches and looks great. Up close, if paying attention you can tell they are cheaper and the machining was not smoothed over and slightly larger at the base than factory would be. Should be fine for normal light cargo use or a kayak. Will update with any issues. Easy to install by yourself. Just don't be an idiot...put a towel on your roof so you don't scratch it prior to tightening it down. ... show more

Easy to install. It comes with washers with no mention in the directions to use them which was odd but we made it work. Each end of labeled with “Right, front or left rear” etc so it’s easy to tell which piece goes where. I added a rack on top to support luggage and drove about 600 miles round trip. No problems. I ordered this for my 2017 Rogue S. Fit great. Fairly easy to install. I used it to bring my really nice frame and mattress for gueen size futon across country. Really sturdy but 2 of the little screws fell out. Please don't send me questions. I don't know if it'll fit your vehicle.
