First of all, if you're thinking about buying it, do it. Soooo worth the money. I love the color scheme, the glitter is pretty and holographic plenty of choices. My order came quick, good packaging. I like that the UV lamp is corded, NO BATTERIES. The consistency of the polygel was according. I am no nail artist. I've done all the diy kits though, acrylic, dip, what have you. Never polygel however. This had NO smell so that got brownie points. The polygel itself is very tacky so don't get it everywhere, have a good station to work at, everything set out. It is also very forgiving. The clamp would ooze out the polygel or make the dual form slide. I just have wide nail beds and jacked cuticles lol. I was able to scrap offf the gel and restart or add more product or even wipe it off with the brush and slip solution. Since I wanted my nails thicker with more structure it took a min and a half for my satisfaction of curing. It was time consuming, almost 3 hours because I was going slow, could only do 1 nail at a time with only 1 nail clamp provided. I wanted to show my first attempt. Show real product. The good and ugly. I accidentally made some air bubbles on my first two nails bc I played with the clear gel too much. I had to redo my thumbs and middle fingers bc the broke, it cured too thin and stuck to my skin and they broke pulling up my jeans 😂. I had to redo my pointer bc it was initially too small, like a pinky nail. So I relaid it with a bigger form. I had some really sheer spots that I tried to share, only because my nails are so wide. My edges are even Crooked and misaligned a little. They are very sturdy though! I have enough to do it at least 5 more times. I'm confident I will get better at it. It was fun and even with some of the cons the pros highly outweigh and compensated for that. Best buy for myself in a while!! Do take the time to YouTube some diy videos for polygel, that helped a lot!

I really liked this product. I was surprised when it came and the gel was smaller than I thought it was going to be even still. I think you should be able to get two nail looks out of them if you don’t use them too heavily or if you don’t do the same thing I did, and redo one nail three times just because it didn’t look perfect, the gel is sticky so it comes with a bit of a learning curve but overall I think it’s a good product.

After years of "no nails" i decided to jump back in after seeing poly nail gel all over social media. As a former nail tech who has done fiberglass, silk, gel & acrylic, I'm pretty comfortable with the technique needed for these but there was still a learning curve involved...not bad since these are easy to shape and correct if they are not how you like them at first. Take note that the dual forms are rather narrow...not bad for most users but for those with wider thumb nails, you'll have to use a regular form to sculpt or a nail tip to overlay. No big deal. I opted to use tips The gel is firm and keeps it's shape while working but remains pliable until cured. I used the clear and found it tricky to guage how much gel was on the form in all parts and ended up with some thin spots I had to fill in later which was a bummer since the dual form leaves a perfect shiny surface. I'm sure I'll be much better with practice as I get comfortable with this new medium. The kit comes with just about all you'd need except for a proper nail file. The small files included are garbage and wear down only one or two nails in. Go get some decent 100/180 files & a few buffer blocks at the beauty supply...you and your cuticles will thank me....oh yes...and some solar oil since you need this after nail service anyway. I also recommend getting some isopropyl alcohol to use instead of slip solution and a little pump dish dispenser - it'll be easier than using a dappen dish. Give it a try...it's got everything else you might need and was a lot quicker than acrylics and it didn't stink! Always a plus

It worked foe a few months-- it was always pretty hit or miss if it would work or not. It'd suddenly stop and I'd have to mess with the cord to get it to go-- then one day, it just totally stopped working 🙄

I bought this for my daughter to give her boyfriend's sister at Christmas; and she loved it. I have used this brand myself and it works great. For everything that comes in this kit was an amazing value. Literally comes with everything you need to do a set of polygel nails.

It took me well over 2 hours to do my nails. The gel was rock hard in the tube and very difficult to manipulate, even with the slip. The nail file feels like paper, there’s absolutely no grit to it. All in all, with the amount of money and time I spent, I’d be better off going to the nail salon to get a fill.
