This lamp has all the specs that medical journals recommend for a therapy lamp. It's hard to know if they're true or just a claim by the manufacturer as there's no test results from an independent third party lab. The light is bright and I think it does help with SAD but I can't definitely say it's from the lamp or a placebo effect.

I use this lamp every morning and it’s helped with my sleep. Great lighting with lots of options and it appears to be of good quality. The only negative is that the controls are not intuitive, do not look for buttons to press, just slide your fingers under the rim at each indicated option and that will adjust that particular option.

Very simple light. The buttons are actually under the icons (not the icons themselves). The buttons cycle through colors and brightness with no indication of which setting you are on so its a bit frustrating to adjust and you are getting blasted in the face during this trial and error. A remote would make this light a much more pleasant experience.

This is my first light for therapy and it has been great. The buttons were confusing at first but it works fine. I like the stand and being able to turn it. I have not used the timer, 1 and 2 hours at a time seems excessive, maybe better for turning it off if you forget to. I can definitely feel the benefit of light therapy. I feel much more alert since I have started using this.

Easy to assemble, arrived as scheduled. Works great easy to use . Excellent price. For am light therapy it’s excellent. I use it for 20 minutes while I eat breakfast. Remember to take off your glasses if you have lenses with UV or blue light protection on your lenses . I watch 20 minutes of morning news while using it with no glasses on.

This lamp was a breeze to put together, and I love that the head swivels so you can aim the light exactly where you need it. The front panel shows icons for power, brightness, color temperature, and a timer, so the features are easy to spot at a glance. It feels neat on a desk and the adjustable light is perfect for reading, crafting, or working on a laptop. I did have a rocky first few minutes because tapping the icons did nothing, which made me think the lamp was dead on arrival. The fix turned out to be simple. You need to touch the sensor area just below the icons to wake the lamp, then the controls work as expected. Just tap below each icon. There is no visible button there, only thin slots, so it is not obvious. Once I learned that, everything worked flawlessly and the timer and warmth settings have been very handy. My only suggestion for the maker is to update the printed instructions and the product page to call this out clearly near the top. A single line saying “Touch the area below the icons to turn on” would save people time and worry. Now that I know the trick, I am very happy with the lamp and would order it again.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this I live in Texas. So sunlight 've got. Unless it is night time. I didn't really want it for it's intended purpose, though I could see it being very good for that. You can adjust the brightness and the color temperature of the light. It comes with it's own stand too. It is extremely easy to use. I bought it to light objects I scan with a 3D scanner. For that purpose, I need a bright, clean, constant light source that wll stay in place . Check, check, check. So, while I don't need light therapy, this is a win for me.It also has a timer. So if you DO plan to use it for it's intended purpose, you can regulate the time of exposure as well .
