Long story short: the box is heavy. You'll need a second person to move it or to open the box, unzip the headboard and take everything out piece by piece to make the task more manageable, unless you're able to lift nearly 100 pounds with ease. Everything included: headboard, 4 legs that screw/twist on (2 for the headboard, 2 for the foot board), 4 side pieces (two for left and 2 for the right side respectively), footboard, two stabilizers/legs for the midde (of the left and right side), cross pieces, two allen wrenches (one big, one small), five screws, velcroed slats, instructions I'm not a great builder (ask my sister; I offered to build her old daybed and completed the task upside down, only to have to undo the whole thing and call my roommate to do it.) Nor am I good with long detailed instructions, however I was boggled when I saw how simple the instructions that were included were. I thought: this can't be it. (It was, and it was all I needed) All the pieces of the bed come with the screws already attached and all you have to do is loosen it with one of the two included allen wrenches, hook the pieces over the screws (the hooks should be facing down with the velcro lining on top) and tighten them. All together it took me about 2 hours to assemble but after an hour it was clear where everything went (it probably would have been faster with two people but I did it by myself.) The crosshatch pieces are the only ones that didn't come with the screws already in but the five needed screws are included in the plastic bundle with the allen wrenches. After assembling I rolled the slats on and it's really cool how there's velcro on both the slats and the bed frame sides where the slats sit so there's NO CHANCE OF YOUR BED MOVING! And that's just awesome! Especially because I have a memory foam bed that would otherwise slip and slide or fall between any moving slats. A box spring is definitely not necessary and my mattress being 12" already made the bed pretty high profile (any higher and I'd be sitting at or above my window.) *So in summary: this is the easiest to put together bed I've ever encountered, and if I can do it, I guarantee you can. The whole thing is of really high quality; the headboard alone made two of my roommates jealous.

I was a little hesitant about this purchase - buying any furniture on-line is something I’m not usually that psyched about, but it was also the low price. I just couldn’t see this being that well-made for how cheap it is! I am so glad I got this frame! It came quickly - free shipping, an added bonus! What was interesting is this giant box that was basically the size and width of the headboard showed up... I panicked thinking I obviously mis-read something and only ordered a headboard, but all of the parts were cleverly stored inside the headboard. It zips open in the back, and the whole frame, feet, side rails etc were tucked inside. I consider myself very “handy” - my husband took one look at all the parts and said he had to go mow the lawn. There are definitely a lot. But everything you need is included. Where we had just moved into a new house it was easy for me to lay it all out in an empty bedroom and get it together, but you will want some space to lay everything out to see it easier. It took me just under an hour to assemble and put our mattress on top. The frame is super stable, doesn’t wiggle or move at all when you get in and out of bed, or our 80lb dog jumps up on the mattress. I am really impressed with how tightly everything fits together, it seems well-designed and sturdy. It’s also very attractive - I love the brushed heather gray color. It can match with just about any linens etc I want to use. I have a solid-wood frame in our guest bedroom that was mine from before we were married that was roughly $1200... and is not nearly as stable as this bed. Granted it’s 15 years old, but for a fraction of the price this looks much nicer and I love that we don’t have to buy a box spring. If anything changes I’ll ceftainly update this review but we are very happy with it so far.

The media could not be loaded. This product was VERY good purchase. I bought the dark grey king sized. Because of a few reviews I scanned the entire bed and each piece for bed bugs, even the box. There were NONE. the condition was very good. Box is extremely heavy so will definitely need at least one more person to move it in from outside. Assembly was super shot super simple. I did most of it alone, just needed a hand with the frame connecting to the headboard. Super sturdy. My husband and I alone are about 500lbs total, even sturdy for “adult time”. Honestly shocked at how quick it came and thanks to the delivery driver, I know it was a hell of a task lifting this thing lol. The bed is about 6 inch off the ground, that may sound very low but our mattress is thick so it was actually perfect. Slats seem super sturdy , which is important especially for a larger bed. Overall extremely satisfied. Only issue was the side panels connecting to the headboard, you may have to unscrew them a little before latching it on. The holes to the slats didn’t match up perfectly for the E/F step but it still got in there with no problem. Buy it! I hesitated for a while but glad I got it.

This bed is very good quality. It looks good and is durable and good height. It is a good adult size as well. It was a little difficult to assemble. The only issue we had is the boards that the mattress sits on move fall and make noise. We had to use wood glue to keep them from moving because we didn't have a drill. This bed is a good value for the money.
